C is a widely used programming language that emerged in the

early 1970s, created by Dennis Ritchie at Bell Labs. It is a general-
purpose, procedural language known for its efficiency and low-
level memory manipulation capabilities. C serves as the foundation
for many modern programming languages and is extensively
utilized in system programming, including operating systems,
compilers, and embedded systems. Its combination of high
performance and control over system resources makes it a
preferred choice for developers.
