1. Introduction
• The SAMPADA 2.0 mobile application provides document registration services with effective use
of modern technologies
• This User Manual explains the process of E-signing the Deed Drafts of E-stamp and E-Registry on
SAMPADA 2.0 mobile application using Face Auth RD based E-Sign feature.
• The pre-requisites for using Face Auth RD based E-Sign feature on SAMPADA 2.0 mobile
application are,
▪ Installing Aadhar Face RD App
▪ Installing e-Hastakshar App (for E-sign through CDAC)
▪ Installing e-Mudhra App (for E-sign through E-Mudhra)
• The Deed Drafts are available for E-Sign on Sampada 2.0 for the user only after all the Parties who
are part of the deed (except witnesses) have accepted the Deed drafts.
2. Deed E-Signing using Face Authentication
1. After Login as “Public User” in Sampada 2.0 mobile app, click on “Deed E-Signing” module
2. Deed Drafts with Pending E-Sign status will be displayed, select the Deed Draft to be E-signed, Deed
details & Party details are displayed
3. Click on “E-sign” button, the Deed draft will open, user can see the blank space under Party E-Sign
section
4. Click on “Proceed for E-sign” button, user will be asked to select the ‘E-Sign Type’
5. If selects “Face Authentication” option, user has to install “Aadhar Face RD App”, then user needs to
select “E-Mudhra” or “CDAC” option
3. Face Auth RD E-Sign using CDAC
1. If user selects “CDAC” option, user has to install “e-Hastakshar” app of CDAC in the mobile
2. User clicks on “Proceed for E-Sign” button
3. The Face Auth RD E-sign process begins, user needs to read all the advisories
4. Select the check box and click on “Proceed” button, control goes to e-Hastakshar app
5. User’s Aadhar number will be masked, user needs to click on “consent” link
6. Consent Form will open in a pop-up window. User needs to read it and click on “Close” link
7. User needs to select the checkbox and click on “Capture” button
8. App will ask the permission to access the camera , give permission accordingly
9. Front Camera opens, a circle with red boundary appears. User need to adjust their face in that
circle
10. User needs to adjust and follow all the advisories in step#3. When it is ready the circle becomes
“Green” and user will be displayed a message “Please blink your Eyes” to perform E-sign
11. User needs to blink to capture image, after face image is captured, user will get the message
“Face is captured successfully”
12. Control will be routed to Sampada 2.0 mobile app
13. The Deed Draft can be seen with user’s E-sign placed successfully on the Deed draft.
4. Face Auth RD E-Sign using E-Mudhra
1. If user selects “E-Mudhra” option, user has to install “E-Mudhra” app in the mobile
2. User clicks on “Proceed for E-Sign” button
3. Control goes to E-Mudhra app. User’s Aadhar number will be masked, user needs to click on
“Perform eSign” button
4. User selects the language and user needs to read all the advisories
5. Selects the check box and clicks on “Accept & Continue” button. The Face Auth RD E-sign process
begins.
6. Front Camera opens, a circle with red boundary appears. User needs to adjust their face in that
circle
7. User needs to adjust and follow all the advisories in step#4. When it is ready the circle becomes
“Green” and user will be displayed a message “Please blink your Eyes” to perform E-sign
8. After user blinks, face image is captured, user will get the message “Signed successfully”
9. Control will be routed to Sampada 2.0 mobile app
10. The Deed Draft can be seen with user’s E-sign placed successfully on the Deed draft.
