PROLOGUE
ICFAI Business School (IBS), established in 1995, has been
a trailblazer in expanding access to quality management
education. During the 1980s and 1990s, opportunities for
higher education in management were scarce, with only a
few institutions like IIMs offering limited seats. Observing
this societal anomaly, Late Shri N J Yasaswy, founder of the
ICFAI Group, recognized the need for change. He embarked
on a mission to provide management education to a larger
group who had long been deprived of access to higher
education in this field.
As a pioneer in the field, IBS set up nine campuses across
the country to cater to a diverse student body. Despite its
extensive reach, IBS has consistently upheld high standards
of education. Admission to IBS is strictly merit-based through
a robust selection process, comprising past academic
record in Class X, XII & Graduation and Micro Presentation &
Personal Interview.
The curriculum at IBS is regularly updated in collaboration
with distinguished academicians, industry experts,
recruiters, and senior alumni. The courses reflect current
market trends and demands, ensuring students acquire IBS alumni network, with nearly
relevant skills and knowledge.
