Upon arrival-
a) The officer identified himself and disclosed the purpose of visit. That is to ‘ search and seizure’ in
M/s XYZ, which is a defaulter for non-payment of provident fund & allied dues for period from……. To
……….. under section 14B/7Q of EPF&MP Act despite a number of opportunities already provided in
this matter.
b) presence of independent witness as mentioned above was ensured.
c) Search Warrant was shown to and acknowledged the owner/occupant.
d)officer offered himself for personal search before commencement.

Thereafter , a syatematic search of the premises was carried out in the presence of the Panch Witness
and the occupant.
