Introduction:
Wood tar is a liquid that is produced when wood is carbonized, or decomposed during
distillation. There are two kinds: resinous tars, which are formed from pine wood, particularly
from resinous stumps and roots, and hardwood tars, which are derived from woods like oak and
beech. The process for wood tar extraction is Pine roots are placed in a conical pit dug in the
ground and coated with birch bark to create tar. Then turf is placed over them, and they are lit on
fire. The turf prevents oxygen from getting to the wood, keeping it from catching fire. Roots boil
off their sap, which then runs to the bottom of the pit and can be recovered as tar.

dead cells from its top layer and slow down the growth of skin cells. This effect decreases

test of time is wood tar. While many people have seen success using wood tar shampoos,
concerns exist over the long-term negative effects and offensive odor of wood tar. Tar can aid in
restoring the skin's look by slowing the rapid proliferation of skin cells. Additionally, it can aid
with psoriasis scaling, itching, and inflammation reduction. Keratolytic shampoo contains wood
tar. Scales and crust are loosened and softened, and bacterial development is slowed. While the
amount of tar in each product varies, the more tar there is, the more effective the shampoo will
be. Wood tar shampoos are sloppy and smell strongly, many people's displeasure. The wood tar
shampoo maintain a tar smell after it is rinsed away and is advised to let it on the scalp for 10
minutes before rinsing. We advise using a more pleasant-smelling, all-natural shampoo or
conditioner after your wood tar shampoo treatment to lessen the offensive odor. Be mindful that
wood tar can leave stains on bedding and clothing. Store between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius at
room temperature (59 and 86 degrees F). Keep the container tightly closed. Avoid freezing. Any
