Scabies Treatment Guide (Age: 20 years)

1. Permethrin 5% Cream

- Use at night before sleeping after a bath.

- Apply from neck down to feet, covering all areas including between fingers, under nails, elbows,

and folds.

- Leave for 8-14 hours, then wash off.

- Repeat after 7 days.

2. Cetirizine 10 mg Tablet

- Take 1 tablet at night before sleeping to reduce itching.

- Continue for 5-7 days if needed.

3. Calamine Lotion (Optional)

- Apply 2-3 times daily on itchy areas.

4. Treatment for Family Members

- All household members must use Permethrin, even if no symptoms are present.

5. Hygiene Instructions

- Wash all clothes, bed sheets, and towels in hot water and dry in sunlight.

- Isolate unused clothes for at least 3 days in a sealed bag.
