‘The solid-liquid mixture to be separated is charged into the vessel through a nozzle. Once
charged, the vessel is pressurized with ar or inert gas. A filter media of suitable material
land pore size is affixed to the bottom of the vessel. Pressure exerted by the gas causes the

Drying of the moist solids can be carried out in the same equipment by circulating a
