Internationally, Cooperative Day is celebrated annually on


the first Saturday of July. This day promotes the
cooperative movement by raising awareness of its role in
achieving shared goals through collaboration. It
recognizes cooperatives' global contributions and encourages others to build a better world. By
celebrating Cooperative Day, people recognize the significant contributions of cooperatives
globally and encourage others to follow their lead in creating a better world. It also serves as a

Coopbank's Cooperative Day event aligns with this spirit, supporting the movement, fostering
engagement, and recognizing cooperatives' significant socio-economic impact. Hence, this
document outlines the Coopday sub-team members and their responsibilities to ensure a
successful event. It also identifies teams requiring alignment and outlines key alignment points.
