In this book you will learn my journey in life, the places I went and the things I

have learned while traveling.

I am 10 years old and living at the City of San Fernando, Pampanga “The
Christmas Capital of the Philippines”. I can’t speak Capampangan, but I can
understand it. I have a 15 years old brother and parents who love to go to different
places. So I could say that I am lucky to have an adventurous family.
So let’s travel and learn with me.

CHAPTER 1

The first time I rode a plane was when we went to Bohol when I was 5 years old,
but my family told me that, it was my 2 nd time because we went already to Singapore
when I was 1 year old. I can’t remember that, so I cannot tell you about that travel.

I felt dizzy and throwed up on my first plane ride and have to endure it for 1 hour.
It was worth the sacrifice because of the beautiful places I saw in Bohol.

The Chocolate Hills is one of the most famous tourist destinations in Philippines.
I have to climb 214 steps to see the whole view. I thought I can’t make it but I never
gave up and reach the peak. It’s amazing and wonderful and truly they look like
chocolate kisses. The grass turn to chocolate brown during the dry season and green
during the wet season.
I also saw the Philippine Tarsier, the smallest primates in the world with biggest
eyes and they are already endangered. I felt sad because maybe years from now they
will be extinct.
I had a bad experience with the hanging bridge because I got stinged by a
caterpillar when I hold the bamboo. My mom put wax of the candle on my hand and I
got burned, so I told her to just remove the hair with a nailcutter and I can’t believe it
worked.
I had a lunch at the floating restaurant at the Loboc River. It was so great to eat
while enjoying the breathtaking scenery of the clean river, the green forest and the great
music.
I also visited the oldest Catholic Stone Church in the Philippines which is the
Baclayon Church.
I also visited the site where the Blood Compact happened between Sikatuna and
Miguel Lopez de Legaspi. This act symbolized peace and friendship which took place
on March 16, 1565.
I was afraid to try the cable ride because I’m afraid of heights but because my
dad accompanied me, I felt secured and happy to experienced it.
I also experienced island hopping and saw different colors of star fishes. My
parents told me to put them back in the water quickly because they will die.
CHAPTER 2

The longest drive of my life was when I went to Ilocos Sur and Ilocos Norte with
my family, uncles and aunties. I wasn’t able to notice the long drive because we were
happy singing, eating and telling jokes.
I walked along the oldest street in Vigan which is the Calle Crisologo. This is
where the high ranking persons lived during the Spanish Era. The placed was
preserved and became one of the most popular tourist spots of the city. It was so
beautiful and unique.
I visited Paoay Church, which is one of the UNESCO World Heritage back 1860.
It is a baroque style historical church. The place is very quiet and peaceful.
I also climbed the Bantay Bell Tower situated in a hill. I saw antique bells used
years ago.
I visited one of the official residence of the late President Ferdinand Marcos
which is the Malacanang of the North. It has an overlooking view of the legendary
Paoay Lake. The rest house is actually a gift from her wife, the former First Lady Imelda
Marcos, in time for his 60th birthday. It was now converted into a museum that houses
several memorabilia of the former President and his family.
It was my first time to see giant electric fans and was amazed by how they spin
because of the wind. I have learned those are called Bangui Windmills which supply
40% of the electricity of the province. Filipinos are truly great inventors.
I rode a horse going to the Kapupurwan Rock Formation. I felt scared because I
heard strong waves from afar. The waves sculpted these creamy white and streamlined
limestone formation. What a miracle!

It was my first time to see a water falls. I walked through farm lands, cross the
river, wooden bridge and slippery stones just to see the wonderful Kabigan Falls. The
water was so cold that all my tiredness was wash away as I dipped my whole body. I
really love nature.

CHAPTER 3
When I was 9 years old I was able to visit Boracay, one of the world's best island
destinations famed for its sandy white beaches! I rode an electric car which looks like a
motorcycle but can accommodate 6 passengers
I also drove the ATV or All Terrain Vehicle by myself going to the island’s highest
peak, Mt. Luho. I felt scared but because I am in the middle of the convoy with my
family I felt safe and enjoyed the ride
I had parasailing with my big brother. We glide through the air wearing an open
parachute while being towed by a motorboat. It was amazing how I can be on top of the
sky without wings.
I also had Paraw Sailing with my family. Sailing old school! A Paraw is an
outrigger boat with two sails. People onboard are the one who control the boat and let
the wind take you to the best site which is seeing the sunset upclose. I also learned for
the ride to be successful, I have to listen and obey the pirate of the boat when he said
swing to the right or left. It was a great experienced.
I rode the banana boat and conquered my fear of the waves and open sea. I
saw Manny Pacquiao’s resthouse in a cliff.
You don’t need to be a skilled surfer to maneuver a paddle board. I learned you
just need to stand up and balance yourself to ride it.
Seeing the Puka Beach I was overwhelmed with how wonderful and creative God
is. Can you imagine that it is possible to have one island made up of white sand and
another island made up of crushed shells mixed with white sand. God is the best
architect!
Boracay is alive at night because on the street you could watched the fire
dancers. They were so professional in playing the fire.
Children were the one building sand castles for tourist to have a picture taking
with their creation and ask for donations. I have learned that you can earn money with
your talent.

CHAPTER 4
For the first month of 2017 I had a day tour in Bagac Bataan with my parents and
family friends. Because my parents were on a budget and wanted to treat us an out of
town so they decided to have a 2 hours ride to this beach.
The place was so peaceful and shady because of the pine trees around it. It is
not yet fully developed but as long as there is water and comfort room it is okay already.
I saw a lot of campers on the site and felt sad how some people leave their trash.
I almost told my parents that maybe their house are dirty.
I enjoyed the big and powerful waves. The sand here is fine but color gray when
wet and beige when dry. I enjoyed making sand castles and watching the sunset.
