Hello everyone, good morning, in my speech I Will talk about my dogs.
I have two dogs, Lorenzo and Rocket,.
I Will start with Lorenzo.
Lorenzo
He is nine years old, almost ten. He is an American pitbull terrier, I know, everyone
say that he’s dangerous, but that’s not true.
He came to us (my family and I) when he was a month old, he was so little, and
cute. At that time we had another pitbull, his name was Bruno.
He came with a sister, so he grew up with company, until, three months later, when
his sister was giving to our gardener.
So, we only had Bruno and Lorenzo, everything was great, but a month later,
Bruno got hit by a car and passed away. After that, Lorenzo was scared by the
cars, persons and even he was very sad, like us. But we had to move on, since
then it was only him.
He likes to sleep in my sister’s bed and also in mine, he enjoys watching tv, he
loves cartoon movies, maybe because for the characters. And he loves to travel in
the car. We have a house in Queretaro, so, when we go there, he knows and he’s
ready to go up in the car.
Also we usually go to Zacatlán de las Manzanas, and also Lorenzo can go, we visit
the waterfall of Tulimán, ate quesadillas and gorditas and sleep in a cabin, when
we go there, is the best travel, not only for the views, it’s because of the fact that
we can go with Lorenzo and he can enjoy that beautiful place with us.
Now it’s time to talk about Rocket.
Seven months ago, my father said that his sister had husky puppies, and she was
looking for a home for them, so he asked us, and we said yes, because we love
dogs, and now that Lorenzo is a bit old, it was good for him to have some
company. A month later, my father brought us a new puppy, he was very tiny. After
all these years, we forget how little the puppies were.
The name of Rocket was, because he looks like a raccoon, he looked like Rocket
from the movie Guardians of the Galaxy, and my sister thought it was funny, and
also it’s her favorite Marvel movie.
The first day was crazy! We had to look for a bed, food, and start to look for a vet.
And soon enough we realised that having a husky eat a lot of work, you don’t
sleep, and they are very noisy. The next day, because he came along to us in the
night, we went with the vet, for his vaccines, and things about his health.
Fortunately he was okay, so we started to introduce him with Lorenzo, of course,
Lorenzo was jealous, everything was okay until a weeks later, my mom and dad
came from job, and always they give something to Lorenzo, like a cookie, candy or
a biscuit, so, that day my mom tried to give to him a biscuit, but Rocket went to fast
to them and Lorenzo bite him in his little nose,Rocket started to bleed so fast and a
lot, my parents went with the vet immediately.
Rocket was okay, the bite wasn’t so skindeep, but that night neither of us (including
my dogs) didn’t sleep well.
The next day he was better, and as the time passed he forgot about that and also
he started to play with Lorenzo, and Lorenzo started to saw him better, still jealous,
but they were okay.
A month later, when Rocket had 2 months, we went to Querétaro, my sister and I
decided to stay there for a time, we actually are here,with the dogs, and now
Rocket and Lorenzo get along well, they play in the garden, in the kitchen and also
they sleep together.
Now, Rocket is six months old. He is a crazy dog, the opposite of Lorenzo, Rocket
runs, barks, yells out, and now he bites lorenzo.
But I love them anyway.
