INTRODUCTION
The Cosmetic Database Project is designed to store,
organize, and manage detailed information about
various cosmetic products. In today’s world, the
cosmetic industry is growing rapidly, and keeping
track of product details such as brand, price,
ingredients, expiry date, and skin type suitability is
very important. This database helps both sellers
and customers easily find accurate information
about each cosmetic product.

ABOUT PROJECTS
The Game_Collection table is designed to manage
and organize a game database efficiently. It
includes various fields that help catalog games and
provide an organized structure for easy retrieval,
searching, and classification. This system can be
used for gaming libraries, online gaming platforms,
or entertainment management databases.
TABLE STRUCTURE
The table consists of 12 fields:
1.Product_ID: the primary key,uniquely identifying each
[Link] Name: The name of the cosmetic
[Link]: The brand of the product
[Link]: type of cosmetics such as skincare, haircare
[Link] or color: The color of the product
6.Skin_Type: The kind of skin(oily,dry etc…)

[Link]: The average customer rating
[Link] name: the name of the seller or store
FIELD DETAILS
1.Product_ID:
It uses the data type(INT). This field stores a unique identification
number for each cosmetic product. It helps in distinguishing one
product from another and prevents duplication of data.
2. Product_Name: (VARCHAR 100)
This field contains the name of the cosmetic item, such as lipstick,
foundation, or face cream. It helps users quickly identify which
product the record refers to.
3. Brand: (VARCHAR 50)
The brand field specifies the name of the company or manufacturer
that produces the cosmetic. Examples include Lakme, Maybelline, and
Nivea.
4. Category: (VARCHAR 50 )
This field indicates the type or class of the product, such as skincare,
makeup, or haircare. It helps in grouping similar products together.
5. Shade_or_Color: (VARCHAR 50 )
This field mentions the color or shade of the cosmetic, for example,
“Rose Pink” or “Natural Beige.” It is mainly used for makeup products
like lipsticks or foundations.
6. Skin_Type: (VARCHAR 50 )
This field shows which skin type the cosmetic is suitable for, such as
oily, dry, normal, or all skin types. It helps customers choose the
right product for their skin.

The price field stores the cost of each cosmetic product, usually in
rupees. It allows comparison between products and helps manage
sales information.
8. Quantity: (VARCHAR 30 )
This field contains information about the size or amount of the
product, such as 50ml or 100g. It helps in identifying the packaging
and product size.
9. Manufacture_Date: (DATE)
This field records the date on which the cosmetic was manufactured.
It helps to track product age and verify freshness.
10. Expiry_Date: (DATE)
The expiry date field stores the last date the product can be safely
used. It is very important for customer safety and stock control.
11.. Rating: (DECIMAL 2)
This field stores the average rating given by customers, usually on a
scale from 1 to 5. It indicates product quality and customer
satisfaction.
12. Seller_Name: (VARCHAR 50 )
This field contains the name of the seller or shop where the product
is sold. It could be an online store like Amazon or an offline cosmetic
shop.
