UPDATE REQUEST IS FREE


Since the last update was made more than three years ago, you can already request
the evaluation of the property's data.
You can submit the request through the Tax Authority Portal, but we advise you
to do it at the Tax Authority of the property area: on one hand, there are
data to be mentioned in model 1 of the IMI that are only known to
Finance; on the other hand, each Finance service may request different documents
to be attached to model 1, such as the property layout.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR FILLING OUT MODEL 1 OF IMI


Field 1 - Finance code of the property area, which you can consult
on the top of the property notebook.

Table I – Name and taxpayer number of the property owner. If


If the property is a common asset of the couple, just mark 'yes' in field 5.
and indicate the taxpayer number of the spouse. If there is more than one
owner (and this is not the spouse), for example, two siblings, they have
to be identified in Annex I.
Quadro II – Check the field 13 "Evaluation Request".
Quadro III – Freguesia de localização do imóvel, artigo matricial e fração,
indicated in the property register.
Table IV - Property Address. In field 39, enter the registry office of
property registration, and in field 40, the registration number. Find this data
in the property register.
Forms VI and VII - To be filled in at the tax office.
Frame VIII – Location and date of delivery and signature of the owner.
