ii. Modem
A modem is short form of modulator-demodulator. It enables internet connectivity by
allowing data to be sent and received between your home network and your ISP.
iii. Website
Collection of web pages connected together through links over the internet is called a website.
A website usually contains text, links, audios and videos.
iv. World Wide Web
WWW or the World Wide Web is a system of interlinked webpages over the internet. It uses
protocols like HTTP and HTTPS to transfer data.

POP: It stands for Post Office Protocol. Email client like gmail uses the POP protocol support
in the server to store the emails.
IMAP: It stands for Internet message Access protocol. IMAP protocol is used to send and
receive emails in the server with different email clients. E.g. gmail, yahoo, outlook etc

SMTP: It stands Simple Mail Transfer Protocol. It is the main email protocol that is responsible
for the transfer of emails between email clients and email servers.
LQ-3: Explain how to create a signature for your email. Write the steps in detail.
