1.

One of the most important lessons you learn through travel is that you are more
capable than you thought. Travel teaches you confidence, independence and freedom. It
boosts your self-awareness and your problem-solving skills. Travel shows you that you
can navigate a foreign country, make new friends, and overcome difficult situations. For
the most part, traveling is the most fun and rewarding experience we’ll ever have. It
doesn’t matter where you go exactly. It just matters that you’re leaving your hometown
and exploring other countries and cultures.
2. As travel provides an opportunity to be someone different for a little while, I believe
that it also changes who you are upon returning home. Studies have found that travelers
become more creative, open-minded and trusting, for example. A longitudinal study
reported that university students were more open and agreeable — and less neurotic —
after studying abroad, changes researchers attributed to relationships formed while
traveling. For example, Eastern women often think that all Western men are gallant, and
if they have a chance to go west, they will be let down, surely.
3. There are various other benefits that you might not envision right now but in the long
run can become quite handy for them. Studying abroad is an experience unlike any other.
Being in a new place by themselves, children learn to adapt to diverse situations and
solve all problems on their own. Those who study abroad tend to learn a lot about various
cultures around the world from their classmates, peers and locals in the foreign country.
In addition, they get the chance to experience various styles of education. Countries like
USA, Canada, Germany and some others have practical approaches and fund students'
research programs. By enrolling in a study abroad program that supports them, children
have the opportunities to get exposure that may not be available in their hometown.
4. Tourism is vital for the success of many economies around the world. There are
several benefits of tourism on host destinations. Tourism boosts the revenue of the
economy, creates thousands of jobs, develops the infrastructures of a country, and plants
a sense of cultural exchange between foreigners and citizens. Tourism creates a cultural
exchange between tourists and local citizens. Exhibitions, conferences, and events
usually attract foreigners. Organizing authorities usually gain profits from registration
fees, gift sales, exhibition spaces, and sales of media copyright. In fact, foreign tourists
bring diversity and cultural enrichment to the hosting country. Tourism is a great
opportunity for foreigners to learn about a new culture, but it also creates many
opportunities for local citizens.
5. Tourism offers great opportunities for emerging economies and developing countries.
It creates jobs, strengthens the local economy, contributes to local infrastructure
development and can help to conserve the natural environment and cultural assets and
traditions, and to reduce poverty and inequality. More generally, it works towards
fostering the sustainable development of tourism at destinations, and it fosters
cooperation with the tourism industry, always pursuing the goal of using tourism projects
in order to contribute to sustainable development in its partner countries.
6. Transformative Travel: This is a new tourism trend that’s quickly gaining popularity.
Transformative travel is about not just traveling for leisure but also aiming to make a
difference in both the lives of others and oneself. When it comes to making a difference
in their own lives, clients can opt to go for wellness holidays where they retreat and
either join a yoga class, relax at a nature-filled destination, or attend some apprenticeship
classes to learn a new skill. Because of this trend, there is also a notable change in the
travelers’ diet. Instead of indulging in unhealthy meals, those who’ve joined the organic
food movement prefer places that offer highly nutritious and organic foods. One of the
main aims of transformative travel is to be involved in something that’s significant and
adds purpose to the trip.
7. First of all, I think that tourists should do as much research about their destination as
they can before their departure. This will help them learn more about the culture and
what is considered polite as well as rude. It is important for tourists to uphold local
customs and to consider laws with respect. They need to be mindful of religious and
cultural beliefs . Being aware of what is illegal and socially unacceptable will be
beneficial for tourists during their stay in another country. Overall, when on holiday,
people need to behave appropriately and they need to know what can get them into
trouble.
8. The first step towards learning about a different culture is learning the native language.
I believe that, to truly familiarize yourself with culture, getting to know a bit about the
language is key. Unless you’re open to differences, your cultural exchange experience
isn’t going to go very far. Keep an Open Mind: Opening yourself up to global
understanding is essential when it comes to learning about a different culture. Broadly
speaking, it's strategic to have some basic facts about the departure at the fingertips,
which helps you get into conversations and shows your respect for the culture.
9. A travel experience easily makes you happier by getting you away from your daily
grind. If you can get away from your parents, kids, freelance work, pets, homework,
piano lessons, part-time job, studying for exams or any other things possibly weighing
you down, that will definitely put a smile on your face, to say the least. One of the best
things you can do for your mental health every now and again, especially as a busy high-
school student, is to disconnect in order to recharge. Working or studying for days,
weeks, and months on end may help get you where you’re looking to go. Therefore, you
deserve a break every once in a while from the chronic stress.
10. Definitely, a society could be benefitted from the members who have travelling
experiences. Usually, the people who have travelled in different parts of the globe are
aware of many issues which are beyond to the limit of the ordinary people. The majority
of the people grow idea about something by secondary perception. So, they clearly lack
the inner and outer aspects of the issue. But when someone travels, they own the chance
to see and know about the things clearly and when they return to their hometown, they
share the experiences with the fellow men or in their community. As a result, a type of
informal awareness is created in that specific society which is beneficial for them to a
great extent. So, when the people return to their native land, they subconsciously try to
spread the earned knowledge from the trip. By this way, the society could be benefitted.
11. Digital technology has transformed the very experience of booking holidays – so
much so a majority of people rely solely on their mobile phones to book their entire trip.
Online travel services have evolved to the point where the need for travel agents has
become practically non-existent. Today’s websites allow people to book great flights
quickly for cheaper prices and reserve quality services that revolve around their personal
itineraries. These online platforms allow travellers the luxury of planning out their
holidays with no stress, providing them with options to purchase hotel rooms and rental
cars with no more effort than a click of the mouse.
