Welcome to Chapter 5- Device tracking.
We would open this chapter with the differences and similarities between the two mobile
kings, iOS and Android and the tracking measures that have been put in place for their
devices.
In the previous chapter we saw how to use GPS apps to track our GPS-enabled devices and
even ring them from anywhere on the planet.
We would learn some apps that would be used to monitor our devices across all platforms
and device types.
Now how do you handle the devices that do not have GPS?
How do you track your laptops?
In this chapter, I will walk you through how to track laptops and desktops that do not have
inbuilt GPS.
We would also briefly look at the inbuilt device finders in Android and ios.
I would introduce us to an app that can be used to track any device and give you even more
concise information, be it a phone, tablet, desktop or laptop.
