TASK
Connecting Two PCs with each other through LAN cable and sharing
file
Step 1:
First of we will connect 2 PCs through LAN cable from ethernet port and we
will make sure that our wireless connection is disabled.
Step 2:
Then we will go to control panel and go to Network & internet.

Step 3:
Then we will go to Network and sharing center.
Step 4:
After clicking Network and sharing center we will go to advanced sharing
settings.

Step 5:
We will allow public folder sharing and we will of password protected sharing.
Step 6:
After that we will comeback to Network & sharing center and we will click
Ethernet2 option.

Step 7:
Then we will go to the properties and select internet protocol version 4 and
there we will set the IP address and subnet mask statically.
Step 8:
we will create a folder and put a file in it and we will go to give access for
specific people.

Step 9:
Then we will type Everyone and add it and then we will share it.
Step 10:
we will then select Done.

Step 11:
We will then go to Network directory and we will check the 2nd PC. In my case I
have connected it with my friend’s PC.
Step 12:
I will go to hello directory and check the file which my friend has shared.
