CMS R18 Release Notes
5.1. Issues with Designer Report executed from the web client
Designer reports may not run successfully in the web client if the report contains a certain
entries in text fields. This issue has existed in the CMS product since the introduction of the
web client in CMS R16.3.
If a text field is added to a designer report, the report execution may fail in the web client with
an error indicating a failure to set the report input under the following conditions:
- The text field contains certain special characters such as a single quote in the middle of
a word.
- The name of the font that the text field uses includes a space (for example, “Courier
New” or “Times New Roman”). Fonts with single word names (example, “Arial”) work
fine.
- The text in the field, included in double quotes, contains a word that is a reserved
keyword in the CMS software such as “text” or “label”. See Appendix B for a full list of
keywords to be avoided.
5.2. Mobile App is NOT supported for CMS R18
The mobile app will be available with the first service pack deployment for CMS R18.
