COURSE SYLLABUS
Week 1 : Introduction:
Qubits, Single qubit states, Vector Spaces and Bases. Introduction to QSim quantum
simulator and programming basics on QSim Platform.

Week 2 : Basic operations:


Single and multi-qubit states, gates and measurements, Entanglement and Teleportation,
Universal quantum gates and approximation of gates along with QSim examples on
Teleportation and Superdense coding.

Week 3 : Basic Quantum Algorithms:


Deutsch-Jozsa and Simon’s algorithm and demonstration on Qsim simulator. The concept
of Hybrid quantum programming and advantages of Quantum algorithms.

Week 4 : Advanced quantum algorithms:


Explanation and Issues regarding the construction and implementation of Grover’s oracles
of Grover’s algorithm. Shor’s factorization algorithm: classical background, the period
finding problem, Quantum Fourier transform, result extraction.
