An Apartment Management system is simply software developed for
managing most activities that take place in the apartment with the
help of apartment administrator.
The goal of this research work is to provide a solution to the problem
of apartment management, by designing a computerized system
which is user-friendly and GUI-oriented that will be compatible with
the existing manual systems. The software to be developed will solve
the problem of apartment management; thus helping to reduce
problems associated with the manual apartment management system.
Problems associated with Apartment records when manually handled
by the Landlord:
Records are manually written and stored in various registers.
Lots of human errors are encountered when records are hand-
written.
The use of numerous registers for hostel allocation can be very
cumbersome, hence tracing records become tedious.
Difficulty in maintaining or updating the records, hence, retrieval of a
certain dataset from a bunch of registers is almost impossible.
Loss or damage of any of the registers leads to damage of lots of
important files at a time.
Lack of data security.
Existing System: It
is really difficult to manage all the information in regards
with the property and apartments on the daily basis. The most difficult part
of the whole process is the mathematical calculations that come into the
play while renting or selling of a property. Miscalculations could lead to big
blunders and could result in the loss of client. Thus management of
apartments require a well designed and systematic system that can
calculate items without an omission or mistake. The apartment property
management system is ready to use software which comes with features as
per the need of the property agents and landlords.
Proposed System: we have tried to eradicate all the the above stated odds.
It is required by the property agents and landlords who deal with too many
clients to maintain and manage the records of monthly rents and spending
on the building. Apartment Agents and landlord can now pass information
online to tenant, and also tenate can pay bills online.

The fact finding method used during this research are as follow;

This research has designed an Apartment
management system to ascertain proper
management of apartments, Register new
tenant, Receive tenant complaints or reports.
The important thing is that the system should
be flexible enough for future modifications..
Every effort has been made to cover all user
requirements and make it user friendly.
It is recommended that this application be use by Landlords and
apartment agents.
Effort should be made by Landlords to ensure that all new tenants be
registered in this new system, that will bring about proper monitoring
of all the apartment owned by the Landlord or the Apartment
Company. It is also recommended that the computerized system
should replace the manual way of processing Apartment issues.
