How to sell your book on Amazon in 4 simple steps

Step 1

Create Your Book

Design your photo book with one of Blurb’s free creative tools—or upload a print-ready PDF. Before you go live, we highly recommend ordering a proof copy to catch any typos, color tweaks, or layout surprises.
Step 2

Make your book listing

Head to your Blurb Dashboard, click “Sell my book,” and choose Amazon as your sales channel. From there, set up your book preview, complete your author profile, and write a description that hooks your readers.
Step 3

Set your list price

In the Sales Channel & Profit tab on your dashboard, set your price and see exactly how it breaks down—base cost, Amazon’s distribution fee ($1.35 per book + 15% of your list price), and your profit per sale.
Step 4

Print or Publish Your Book

Start sharing! Post your Amazon link on socials, your blog, and in emails. Embed a book preview on your website, tease excerpts, and keep your audience excited for more.

After Amazon’s 30-day return window, your earnings are on the way. Once you hit the minimum payment threshold, we’ll send your payment by PayPal or check within 15–45 days.
