Peribit is a new social communication platform that allows users to communicate with friends and family without the anxiety of having to delete embarassing or offensive posts years later. Peribit combines the best atributes of Twitter, Facebook and Snapchat by maximizing user engagement for self deleting posts. With peribit posts are limited to 140 characters and self delete 3 hours after being created unless they receive a like or comment. For every Like or Comment a post receives an additional 15 minute to their active time clock.

By adding a timer on posts peribit ensures that users see the best content at all times. This prevents peribit from being flooded with old content like Facebook and Twitter and maximizes user engagement more than Snapchat by allowing users to engagement with content by liking, commenting or reposting. With our model the best posts will remain active and trend upward while bad content will delete due to lack of user engadgement.
