Everyone loves Realm Invader which is also comedy with a meta element at times
Personally I thought it was a clusterfuck all over the place, rambly dialog etc, aren't even any sex scenes, but I'm clearly the exception and the cast is good.
Harem Hotel is another, it's super good and has 10000 times more content than most all other games combined.
The classics though are Eternum, Ripples, Cosy Cafe, house in the rift, MBIML, those are all the S tier 10/10 ones with varying levels of comedy but insanely good stories and renders.
HAHAH. Okay, I've played the game like 3/4 times, i remember commenting the main things I hoped to see addressed, and this most recent update it's like you pulled up that exact checklist. Elizabeth finally telling us about Gramps, showing more of Annabelle, Hamilton kept getting pushed back and you had to meet him eventually, more of hannah, buidling on Sarah and catherines progression, idk how you're juggling so many concurrent plotlines, you're really on top of it.
Still have absolutely zero interest in Misaki though haha, it feels so detached from the story and we already have so many good characters already, probably my only critique, besides the usual trope of everyone being virgins haha, it's a weird fixation in these games when everyone you date in your teens and 20s have exes, and it isn't a big deal.
The new models look amazing too. Eternum may be the pinnacle but I look forward to this story more than most any other.

It has bbarely any adult content, it's basically just comedy banter the game. The lore, worldbuilding, what little you get is solid. But 90% is just rambling back and forths. Veneetas scenes were good, I'll give him that, but it jumps around SO much without focus or direction, no cohesion between scenes, and so many scenes read like filler and padding without actually developing the cast or plot.
Great designs, renders, sure.
But you play these for the story and LIs, if there's just cringey high schooler meme jokes the whole time and no sex you aren't really getting anything from it..
Eternum, companion of darkness, cosy cafe, house in the rift, MBIML, all of them have the format absolutely down.
This isn't bad by any means, if people like the comedy I can see why they praise it so much, but the glacial pacing, rambling script and a protagonist that goes from confident cocky badass to shy awkward virgin goof is really cringey

Absolutely not at Eternum level, or ripples/Cosy cafe/HITR/Companion of darkness
There's a lot to like, great designs, worldbuilding..
But it's SO scatterbrained, ADD rambly and all over the place. 90% of the scenes are like stream of consciousness and it jumps around so wildly with the cringey jokes shoved in that hit maybe 1/5 times.
absolutely zero sex scenes, the confident, mature protagonist suddenly becomes a meek awkward goof freaking out at basic interactions and it's really cringey. In the vanilla fooling around scenes it at least is done well.
But it's rudderless, chaotic, and maybe 2 minutes of spicy content, which wouldnt be a huge deal if the story was good, but you also only have about 4 minutes of plot.
The entire rest of the game is just banter, with no real progression with any of the LIs.
I do like the cast, it definitely has potential, and amazing renders for sure.
But people acting like this is the best avn ever either havent played very many or have been burned too many times by crappy ones.
Comparing this to Eternum is like comparing Sharknado to jaws.
Bible thumping puritan religious nuts have a ridiculous amount of influence in the US unfortunately, so we have to deal with 1950s levels of censorship and meddling that seems absolutely insane in 2025. Same type of clowns who tried to ban D&D or Harry Potter for being "satanic" in previous decades. Absolutely disgusting.
If you avoid the NSFW sscenes you miss a lot of development from the cast, like picking only one LI versus everyone. It's really easy to know which choice is the correct one to keep everyone on board, and it's the best, the scene on the island in the last update is so wholesome once it's locked in and they discuss it. Luna, Alex, some of the best characters in any avn.
I want to know the story too but the NSFW scenes honestly aren't just hot wallpaper they genuinely develop the cast & are super well done.
But yeah, honestly the story is better than 90% of regular games. I've played it from the start as a fan of OIAL and he's managed to get better with each new update.
The mysteries around orions powers, the hints with the syndicate & from Idriel, and so many more I'll avoid mentioning for spoilers. The subreddit has legit theorizing and discussions which you never see besides maybe Ripples.
I really love the setting, the lore, I can tell there's something there, not on Eternum level but possibly around cosy cafe/ripples like a damn good story..
But holy CRAP hire a proofreader, I thought companion of darkness grammar and spelling issues was rough, it's nigh indecipherable most of the time. Like the characters are having two different conversations, it jumps all over the place, you include the Chinese sayings which are cryptic as hell haha..i even asked my wife who's from Guangzhou and she had no idea wtf it meant 😆
Entire scenes like meeting the sister or entering VR, banter between the characters feels so confusing and bizarre, & they go from new coworkers to lovers instantly
The translation itself seems fine..it's just the syntax, the structure of sentences, I feel like there's some bizarre second step in between, like you translated it from mandarin to Finnish and then into English or something.
Seriously, just an alpha reader or two, someone to rework some of the script, it would do wonders, I really want to like this and totally want it to succeed. I see old comments also mentioning this, so hopefully it's just an issue early on

Ripples is definitely second though. Love that game.
But I've played cosy like 5 times, it's great. Projekt passion, house in the rift, harem hotel, there's a few classics on that level, but like Eternum I really want to know the rest of the story with cosy cafe
Only complaint is misaki feels tacked on and takes away from the rest of the cast, wish we could skip her haha, and get Elizabeth and Annabelle finally involved or the main girls
Is Annabelle planned for late game? I know you're already juggling a lot of plots, the meeting with Gilbert, Date with Akatsuki and the secret with Sarah all on the upcoming Saturday haha, but seems her and Elizabeth have been on the backburner forever. I'd rather them then another scene for misaki, she seems so jarring and out of place with the rest, but that's honestly a minor critique in the 8-10 times I've played it. That and the small little character details where theyll hint at something said to each other but were never privvy to it, like what Sarah made Lucy promise when she started off.
Seriously don't understand why there's suddenly weirdos against girls making out or being part of a threesome.. A thing dudes universally were into forever haha.. To actually not want to see two female love interests hook up is treated like freaking Vore or NTR and it's really bizarre..
It's like the incel types who are so grossly possessive they want all the women to be virgins and never have previous partners because that's somehow NTR and gross, it speaks to some serious hangups and zero social maturity and is really fucked up since that's literally how every relationship is unless you're 13..

Some scenes as epic as the best shit in attack on titan or other shonen.
I haven't seen any other AVN with combat scenes like that, fucking sweet.
But yeah, amazing world building, lore, hot characters, really good pacing, it earned a spot right up there behind Eternum in my mind, the protagonist gets super badass moments like Orion using his powers but even more drawn out and used way more often.
The bad spelling and grammar is my only minor nitpick
On a third playthrough, and it's obviously a classic but damn the typos, broken English and clunky writing can be jarring sometimes haha, lack of punctuation, clunky delivery, weird spelling like "upsi" for oopsie, etc.
If English isn't your first language it's still an amazing job, the worldbuilding, characters, dialog, still great and I definitely love what you've done, some of the most creative animations for the abilities.
But if you want a proofreader, id happily do it, just send me the script and I can give it a run through and fix it all, or I can do it in ren'py and send it back? Idk.
It's really the only criticism I have in this otherwise awesome avn id definitely put up there close to Eternum/ripples/cosy cafe
I didn't think anything could compare to Eternum, Cosy cafe, OIAL, ripples and a few other top tier ones, so many are okay but lack the good writing, harem hotel, house in the rift, between humanity, have potential but aren't quite there
This definitely comes super close though, helps its one of the very few finished ones
That's the common theory, especially since she had full sleeves done in that time, but the amount of time she's gone doesn't make sense, so being a future version of herself makes more sense, skylar from 3-6 months ahead, something like that.
Also the principal "did something" to a girl the week prior before she beats him with the bat, and she texted for help.
So my understanding is they kidnapped her, allies helped her escape and either she needs to keep it quiet from the MC or doesn't know he's also involved.
Was Noel inspired by Rae from House in the Rift? Or vice versa? They're really similar in disposition, background and demeanor haha, but still distinct, definitely did a good job there.
Most games I can't help but compare to Eternum/ripples/HITR/OIAL/Cosy cafe/projekt passion but this hits it out of the park and absolutely is up there. I played it ages ago and glad I remembered to come back and finish it.
Stoked for the next update, keep up the amazing work. The worldbuilding, writing, characterization and everything is top notch. Even have unique looking dudes which is extremely rare haha
Like you I also really love the story and cast, with a really compelling pacing.
There's a lot of crap ones, but for ones comparable to this, Eternum, Cosy cafe, harem hotel, ripples, house in the rift.
All have extremely good writing, great casts, and everything going for them where the sex scenes are just character development for the well written story and not just pointless. Cosy and Eternum are probably the closest with similar settings and compelling narrative.

Just played again for the second time after a while, and appreciated it even more. The scenes early on with Lucy and her mom have a depth and gravitas to them that really help flesh their relationship out, and its nice when the MC shows that protective supportive side so it just isn't always the sex haha. did miss that level of seriousness occasionally, with only Akatsuki really having a comparable one later, but the recent update adding Catherine's really helped add more of that.
Really looking forward to more of the main story, and especially Hannah getting her time in the spotlight, as well as the sister of Brian haha.
My only real nitpick is sometimes it does feel like there's too many in the cast, misaki feels really detached most of the time and a bit of a random sidequest since she's outside the core group, especially since presumably white hair ?Annabelle?, Alison and others will also join and it would seem super crowded and lose focus on the core girls, I'm not worried though I know you'll pull it off either way.
Eternum, OIAL, house in the rift, MBIML, between humanity, ripples and projekt passion were the high bar and you're absolutely up there with them.
It's moving, perfectly paced, funny, and probably the best cast in any of the games besides Eternum
With Eternum/cosy cafe/ripples being the pinnacle of the medium, I was absolutely blown away how this immediately became one of my favorites. The cast, the comedy, worldbuilding, able to shift gears into the heavier stuff without it being clunky, absolutely a masterclass.
Though not clear where the save files are on Android to load into season 2, I'll keep scouring the usual spot but be awesome if you could put that on here man! Thanks a bunch regardless for the kickass work, and all the words

That aside, loving the game so far, definitely a lot of work put into the art and writing, looking forward to seeing how it plays out!
It's definitely plot and worldbuilding heavy for a prologue, with some inferences and implications towards characters/events we aren't privvy to, but just like the great plays, I can tell once we're past act 1/2, replaying this prologue will be far more easy to follow and we'll pick up on all that stuff in retrospect.
Excellent character design, enough mystery and intrigue regarding Abel, though wished to get a little more detail about his condition.
Compared to the top of the genre, Ripples, Eternum, etc, you introduced the entire cast instead of only some of them, and jumped right off the deep end, so it'll be harder to give focus to some early on, but either way I'm intrigued by the cast and really like the dynamic so far. Keep up the great work!

Tho idk why she went from texting help to being chill? Obviously must have time traveled with all the tats, maybe it's her older self like with darci?
I noticed that with MBIML for sure, sometimes it feels a bit schizophrenic
Also will randomly introduce characters or lore like it expects you already know about it or forgets it didn't establish it earlier, not just the connections between the two games.
Definitely feels like it needs a proofread, especially since it's 99% story scenes and barely any lewd ones
