Synopsis

Takuto Ira spent his short life confined to a hospital bed, with the civilization-building game Eternal Nations as his only form of entertainment. His favorite faction within the game—Mynoghra—was infamously complex to navigate and skewed toward evil; moreover, he insisted on playing at the highest difficulty.

After his untimely death, Takuto awakens in a world uncannily reminiscent of Eternal Nations. He is reincarnated as the King of Ruin, sovereign of Mynoghra itself. At his side stands Odei no Atou, the default hero unit of his chosen nation. Remembering every battle they fought together, she pledges unwavering loyalty to Takuto once more.

As Takuto begins to build Mynoghra from scratch in this new world, his early-game strategy remains unchanged: lie low, avoid war, and ensure survival at all costs—ironic for an evil ruler meant to conquer the world. When he offers refuge to persecuted Dark Elves fleeing destruction, a fledgling empire born of a darkness the world has yet to understand begins to take shape.

I just dont understand the harsh rating. I mean i understand not all people are gona like this show but its not bad at all. Lot of mid and even bad animes do have better ratings so this is just wierd to me. Any ways i love the show. i watched it and i bought the manga. The manga might be better than the anime but stul 6/10 is just to low when i compare to other shows.

The one thing that the show needs is better animation. I mean its not bad but definetly for Atou fights it needs to be better. Especialy in the ...

Mixed Feelings
This serious is one of those with a good concept but mediocre execution. The MC and the Elf is very goofy. The beginning was super lighthearted. Yet they try to make negotiation and planing a grave matter. I'm not sure about it's for comic relief. But it's not even a great political fiction. All the discussions ain't deep and amateurish. Until episode 10, the series is a slog. But the only redeeming part is the concept of different game systems clashing in the same world. Which is very novel. Same for MC Civ 6 like ability, which I also never seen. I did like the ...

I honestly feel like this anime had a lot of potential story-wise. The setting and the way it started made me think it was going to be a solid apocalypse series, but it quickly went downhill for me. The plot isn’t very unique and becomes really predictable after a while. I don’t mind simple stories if the execution is good, but here it just felt flat.

The animation was a big turn-off too. It felt messy and kind of cheap at times, which made it hard to stay immersed in serious moments. The art style could’ve worked for this type of story, but the way it ...
