Privacy Policy

Who we are

Pink Eclipse is an electronic music project. This website (pinkeclipsemusic.com) is the official site for our music, releases, and updates. We do not collect account or form data on this site; the main data-related activity is analytics when you visit the live site.

Data we collect

When you visit the production (live) website, we automatically collect certain information through Google Analytics. This can include your IP address, general location, device and browser type, pages you visit, how you arrived at the site (e.g. search or link), and similar usage data. We do not collect names, emails, or other personally identifiable information directly on this site, and we do not use login or contact forms that would store such data here.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for analytics via Google Analytics. These help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it. Analytics run only on the production site; when you use a local or preview version of the site (e.g. during development), we do not load analytics, so no data is sent from those environments.

How we use the data

We use the data described above only for analytics: to understand traffic, popular content, and how people use the site. We do not sell your personal data. We do not use the data for advertising or to build profiles for third parties.

Third-party services

Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to collect and process usage data. Google’s own privacy policy applies to how they handle this data: Google Privacy Policy.

Links to other sites. This site links to external services such as Spotify, Apple Music, and Bandcamp. When you leave our site and go to those services, their privacy policies and practices apply. We do not control how they collect or use your data.

Data retention

Google Analytics retains data according to Google’s policies and settings. We do not separately store or retain personally identifiable data on our own systems beyond what is collected and held by Google for analytics.

Your rights

You can limit or opt out of analytics in several ways:

  • Use your browser’s privacy or “Do Not Track” settings.
  • Use Google’s opt-out add-on for Analytics: Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
  • Block or delete cookies in your browser (this may affect how the site or analytics work).

If you are in a region that provides additional rights (such as access, correction, deletion, objection, data portability, or the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority), you may exercise those rights in line with applicable law. For data held by Google, you can also refer to Google’s privacy policy and their tools for managing your data.

Children’s privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 where applicable). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we make meaningful changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
