    NSIS: Nullsoft Scriptable Install System

    NSIS: Nullsoft Scriptable Install System

    Windows installer development tool

NSIS (Nullsoft Scriptable Install System) is a professional open source system to create Windows installers. It is designed to be as small and flexible as possible and is therefore very suitable for internet distribution. Being a user's first experience with your product, a stable and reliable installer is an important component of succesful software. With NSIS you can create such installers that are capable of doing everything that is needed to setup your software. NSIS is script-based and allows you to create the logic to handle even the most complex installation tasks. Many plug-ins and scripts are already available: you can create web installers, communicate with Windows and other software components, install or update shared components and more.

    Node-RED

    Node-RED

    Low-code programming for event-driven applications

Node-RED is a programming tool for wiring together hardware devices, APIs and online services in new and interesting ways. It provides a browser-based editor that makes it easy to wire together flows using the wide range of nodes in the palette that can be deployed to its runtime in a single-click. Node-RED provides a browser-based flow editor that makes it easy to wire together flows using the wide range of nodes in the palette. Flows can be then deployed to the runtime in a single-click. JavaScript functions can be created within the editor using a rich text editor. A built-in library allows you to save useful functions, templates or flows for re-use. The light-weight runtime is built on Node.js, taking full advantage of its event-driven, non-blocking model. This makes it ideal to run at the edge of the network on low-cost hardware such as the Raspberry Pi as well as in the cloud.

    Concourse

    Concourse

Concourse is a container-based continuous thing-doer written in Go

Built on the simple mechanics of resources, tasks, and jobs, Concourse presents a general approach to automation that makes it great for CI/CD. Concourse is designed to be expressive, versatile, and safe, remaining intuitive as the complexity of your project grows. A Concourse pipeline is like a distributed, continuous Makefile. Each job has a build plan declaring the job's input resources and what to run with them when they change. Your pipeline is then visualized in the web UI, taking only one click to get from a failed job to seeing why it failed. The visualization provides a "gut check" feedback loop: if it looks wrong, it probably is wrong. Jobs can depend on other jobs by configuring passed constraints. The resulting chain of jobs and resources is a dependency graph that continuously pushes your project forward, from source code to production.

    nsisbi

NSISBI aims to remove the current 2GB limit found in NSIS.

NSISBI aims to remove the current 2GB limit found in NSIS. This version adds support for using a separate file for storing the install data, therefore allowing installer sizes up to a theoretical max size of 8EB (this is controlled by NSIS_CONFIG_EXTERNAL_FILE_SUPPORT, this is turned on by default). On versions before 7069-1, the compiler (makensis) is designed to run on 64 bit machines as this is the feature needed to make installers bigger than 2GB. On versions before 7208-1, source files added to the installer are limited to 2GB per file (this is controlled by NSIS_CONFIG_LARGE_FILE_SUPPORT, this is turned on by default). This project is the result of several different experiments focused on relieving the 2GB limit in NSIS, so it's still a work in progress. I'll try to keep it up to date with each major NSIS release.

    postgresql-mingw-w64

    postgresql-mingw-w64

Documentation and releases about building PostrgreSQL using MinGW-w64

This project (licensed under LGPLv3) provides full documented procedures to build PostgreSQL from sources (and some additional extensions / Foreign Data Wrappers: sqlite_fdw, www_fdw, mysql_fdw, ldap_fdw, couchdb_fdw, oracle_fdw, odbc_fdw...) using MinGW-w64 (recent versions of gcc - 4.8.0 or later). It also provides ready made binaries/releases targetting Win32 as well as Win64 (Windows7). Note: Installers are also released to make easy the installation of the PostgreSQL extensions mentioned above in PostgreSQL installations made from the official Windows 7 - 32-bit and 64-bit - installers (those extensions releases - DLLs - being fully compatible with the said installers).

    Foundatio

    Foundatio

Pluggable foundation blocks for building distributed apps

Pluggable foundation blocks for building loosely coupled distributed apps. Includes implementations in Redis, Azure, AWS, RabbitMQ and in memory (for development). When building several big cloud applications we found a lack of great solutions (that's not to say there aren't solutions out there) for many key pieces to building scalable distributed applications while keeping the development experience simple. Wanted to build against abstract interfaces so that we could easily change implementations. Wanted the blocks to be dependency injection friendly. We were initially using an open-source Redis cache client but then it turned into a commercial product with high licensing costs. Not only that but there weren't any in-memory implementations so every developer was required to set up and configure Redis. We initially looked at NServiceBus (a great product) but it had high licensing costs (they have to eat too) and was not OSS friendly.
