The contents of the pyz file (usually pyc files) present inside the executable are also extracted. The pyc files are made valid so that a python bytecode decompiler will recognise it. Script can run on both python 2.x and 3.x Pyinstaller versions 2.0, 2.1, 3.0, 3.1 and 3.2 are supported -

Extract internal monitoring data from application logs
Extract internal monitoring data from application logs for collection in a time-series database. mtail is a tool for extracting metrics from application logs to be exported into a timeseries database or timeseries calculator for alerting and dashboarding. It fills a monitoring niche by being the glue between applications that do not export their own internal state (other than via logs) and existing monitoring systems, such that system operators do not need to patch those applications to instrument them or writing custom extraction code for every such application. The extraction is controlled by mtail programs which define patterns and actions. Metrics are exported for scraping by a collector as JSON or Prometheus format over HTTP, or can be periodically sent to a collectd, StatsD, or Graphite collector socket. Precompiled binaries for released versions are available in the Releases page on Github. Using the latest production release binary is the recommended way of installing mtail. -

Compile and execute C "scripts" in one go!
I love C for its raw speed (although it does have its drawbacks). We should all write more C. With this shell script, you can compile and execute C "scripts" in one go! (Oh yeah, and it works for C++ too.) First of all, I want to clarify why this is not the same as tcc -run. TCC is a compiler. We all know that. TCC will perform its own set of optimizations, just as GCC will perform its own and Clang will perform its own. The purpose of this script is to give a simple front-end to your favorite compiler. I'm a fan of speed, and C definitely offers it. Being able to write a small, fast, and portable C "script" is great. You can pass around a C "script" just like you would a BASH script. -

A module bundler for JavaScript
Rollup is a module bundler for JavaScript which compiles small pieces of code into something larger and more complex, such as a library or application. It uses the new standardized format for code modules included in the ES6 revision of JavaScript, instead of previous idiosyncratic solutions such as CommonJS and AMD. ES modules let you freely and seamlessly combine the most useful individual functions from your favorite libraries. This will eventually be possible natively everywhere, but Rollup lets you do it today. Rollup can be used either through a command line interface with an optional configuration file, or else through its JavaScript API. Rollup allows you to write your code using the new module system, and will then compile it back down to existing supported formats such as CommonJS modules, AMD modules, and IIFE-style scripts. This means that you get to write future-proof code. -

Binaryen
Compiler infrastructure and toolchain library for WebAssembly
Binaryen is a compiler and toolchain infrastructure library for WebAssembly, written in C++. It aims to make compiling to WebAssembly easy, fast, and effective. Binaryen has a simple C API in a single header, and can also be used from JavaScript. It accepts input in WebAssembly-like form but also accepts a general control flow graph for compilers that prefer that. Binaryen's internal IR uses compact data structures and is designed for completely parallel codegen and optimization, using all available CPU cores. Binaryen's IR also compiles down to WebAssembly extremely easily and quickly because it is essentially a subset of WebAssembly. Binaryen's optimizer has many passes (see an overview later down) that can improve code size and speed. These optimizations aim to make Binaryen powerful enough to be used as a compiler backend by itself.
