RefDB is a reference database and bibliography tool for SGML, XML, and LaTeX documents, sort of a Reference Manager or BibTeX for markup languages. It is portable and known to run on Linux, Free/NetBSD, OSX, Solaris, and Windows/Cygwin.

Bibtool is a simple curses-based editor for BibTeX bibliography files, especially useful for those who have to maintain a large number of references for a major piece of documentation, like a PhD thesis. The name 'bibtool' was already in use by another project. To avoid confusion this project has been renamed 'bibcursed' for further development.
