Etymology
Dub is a reference to dub music, a subgenre of reggae mainly consisting of remixes. Bob may be a reference to reggae artist Bob Marley, further reinforced by the band's Japanese name of Cala Marley, which is also a pun on calamari, the culinary name for squid.
