Is it really necessary...

To feature the most recently released weapon/stage? I think one featured article a week is too frequently and the title of featured article will lose its meaning; once every few weeks or every month would probably be better IMO. Nyargleblargle (Talk · Contribs) 11:44, 20 October 2015 (UTC)

I agree, I believe now that there's no DLC there's no more content left to be featured as new so we might make our own featured articles that will be picked randomly? or just remove this from the main page. 15:22, 23 January 2016 (UTC)

Admin-only Protection

I feel like this, as well as the other pages used the for Main Page, should be protected so only administrators can edit it. Many users can edit it, so if a vandal (who's made 5 edits, of course), for example, empties the page, it will affect the Main Page and everyone will see it. Okay, I protected them. Except the poll section, because non-admins change the poll. I will say that so far vandals have not had the patience to meet the confirmed requirements; if they start making 5 "good" edits to get confirmed before vandalizing, we would raise the requirements or require manual confirmation. Typo

Minor clarification(?)

One of the recent news things talks about the Splatoon base site being updated to include the 10th anniversary artwork, but this is specifically the Japanese site, not the localised north america site, consider specifying which regions site NikolasLeroux (talk) 12:22, 28 May 2025 (UTC)

3. Kits and Splatoon Spinoff

There was an announcement in the Nintendo Today app which released information on two important things about Splatoon: First being the next Update for Splatoon 3 which is said to be released in two days featuring third kits as the "Splatsville Collection" and the return of Urchin Underpass as a map. Secondly, a Splatoon spin-off was announced, which is called Splatoon Raiders and features the player as a mechanic alongside Deep Cut as protagonists. Said spinoff was announced as a Switch release.
