if youre not a huge, die-hard fan of little nightmares then you will be able to enjoy this game. im kindve insane about the first two games, so i had super high expectations for this game which it unfortunately did not live up to. something crucial was missing.

the game itself is beautiful and i had fun playing this with my husband, there is technically not many flaws, it is engaging and creepy, everything a little nightmares game should be... but the game lacks soul.

you can feel that the first two games are a result from a labour of love, the company's magnum opus.
when you play this game it feels flat. like a cash-grab, because ultimately that is what this game is. so for that reason i do not recommend this game. not at the current price.

Little Nightmares III a sequel game from the LN1 and LN2 but this time made by a diferent developers, the Supermassive Games.
This game besides beeing not soo good like the others, it doesn't mean that is a bad game.
I felt that it could be better in terms of gameplay and more scares ingame, the story in my opinion is good...
But I still recommend this game, specialy if you get it on sale.

This is a very weak spin-off, but it cant be a numbered third game.
The game's technical state is so poor that it ruins overall experience. There are too many bugs and connection issues, which really hinder progression and immersion. Sure, there were a couple of times when it was funny, but otherwise, its bad. My friend didnt even have credits, just a black screen with music. I pre ordered it, but we play after only 4 months, with all the patches, and knowing how everyone criticized the technical state at release, I completely fail to understand why the game still feels so bad technically.

The game itself feels like a walking and chasing simulator. At one point, I noticed that we were simply running past a lot of rooms. Literally. Some rooms just exist, and theres nothing to do. No easter egg, no secret, just a room, just move on.
Towards the end, this game starts spam of chasing scenes. There are so many, they become incredibly boring and drag on slowly, making you start praying and believing in god, just for it to end.

The plot in this game makes no sense at all. A brief narration appears towards the END game, but it still rests on vague memories and provides virtually no concrete insight. You spend entire game simply running through random locations, not understanding purpose of it all. In previous games, even though the plot was built on allegories, player still understood essence of what was happening, even if some understood it differently, but they understood it. We didnt care about the ending at all, because not only did we fail to connect with characters, we practically didnt know them by the end.

Horror here is only in genre category. While the first game had some pretty scary moments, and the second had fewer of them, but still had a lot of tension, there's no fear or tension here at all. The only time my friend got scared was completely random. In the room with the big hand (before the chase scene, who would have thought) the hand just quickly killed us, it was unexpected. Thats it. The monsters here arent particularly creepy either. They just look a little gross, but nothing more. The puppeteer monster had us laughing for hours. This little guy acts and sounds like a cranky chihuahua. The music has completely lost its charm.

The only things I liked were the puppet mechanics and ambience sounds. Otherwise, it was a complete disappointment.
I really wanted to give this game a chance right up until the very end. Ever since the first trailers. But when in game my friend and me were losing interest more and more, I realized that the game was complete crap. While the first two games left you feeling like you'd definitely want to come back, this one, while the credits were rolling (my friend didnt even have them, mind you), made me realize I didnt want to return. Its just empty and soulless.
