Spoiler-free, just giving some general information.

RGG Studio (Yakuza) games can be a bit of a beast to play in terms of time commitment, so I'll start off by stating I'm writing this after wrapping on the main story, right at 50 hours with minimal side activity. I don't normally do this, but I wanted to go start on Lost Judgment.

Judgment takes its time and the writers reward you for patience. You're kept in the lurch and convinced you know what's going on, only for it to be not subverted, but elaborated chapter by chapter. They built a great mystery narrative. Moment to moment combat is near identical to a Yakuza game with the truly big win being the narrative arcs. If I had to choose between a Yakuza game and Judgment, I'd probably be picking Judgment.

Finally a game where u get to slowly follow a person without getting spotted while he periodically looks back
