The 1.3 update has ruined the game for me.
It runs and performs significantly worse, longer loading times and crashes that didn't occur before and the AI is impossible to play against,
It used to be fair but now they basically oneshot by shooting exclusively at thorax and head which kills even with full health.
And their movement is mor unpredictable then ever making hitting them a waste of bullets.

I really hope the performance issues get fixed and the AI gets overhauled but at this point I can't recommend the game to anyone.

I like that you can taylor the game to how hard or how easy you want to play, that there isn't a timer on gameplay, and that the Game Designers are trying to make the game better with each update. Also a plus not having to worry about PVP players, especially those looking for ways to cheat.

The core game play is good, but there is very little of it unfortunately. I recommend waiting a few months before buying it as at 10 hours the game play is starting to feel repetitive. Don't get me wrong there is plenty more to do, it is just that the missions get recycled and there isn't a lot of mission/map variety yet.

Pros:
1. Solid core game play
2. The game allows fine tuning the difficulty and AI. This probably the best feature in this game. There is a custom settings with several sliders for different settings. Setting this correctly is a must to enjoy this game. The first few rounds sucked for me but after I was able to dial in the difficulty settings it was a blast.
3. The missions are interesting.
4. The settings really allow you to approach the missions in many ways. For example if you set the settings correctly, you can make stealth a viable option. Since the only reason you need to kill enemies is because they are in your way, they are the target, or they have gear you want. The way I have it set up often times I observe enemies and if they have something I want I take them out, but if they don't I sneak past them.

Cons:
1. Two maps, and several missions that get recycled. This is the core game loop. Wait for more content.
2. It isn't install and play type of game. You really have to go custom setting and tweak the setting until you have fun.
3. The AI could still use some work. There are a few exploits. For example if you get the right distance from the sniper the AI will detect the railing. Think its line of site is blocked, and won't fire. You can easily take out snipers just by finding the sweat spot and shooting through the railing or going for the head shot.
4. The really fun missions show up rarely. It is usually fetch quests, or item delivery quests. For example there was one quest where you had to upload data while an alarm was going off and all the guards where converging on your location. The upload process required you to type and execute several commands. You had to time it correctly and do it quickly or the guards would storm you and shoot you in the back. Very fun.
