Founded in 2005, BOOM! is a world-wide gaming community based on the west coast of the US. We welcome all friendly gamers who want a place to relax and chat or get help. Trolls are not welcome!

For over 10 years, BOOM! hosted TF2 and CS:S game servers. The TF2 servers we're modded community servers and allow players to have fun and casually trade. They we're not geared toward official competitive play. In late 2017, Lt. Maverick, the owner / founder of BOOM!, shutdown the game servers due to little player support for funding the services and the ever-increasing number of trolls and cheaters that were creating too many problems for the players to enjoy the games.

Joining this group will help you to stay connected to the players who once played on our famous Valve game servers and like to share info and memories of the good times we had.

TF2 Halloween is Coming SOON!

I know some of you have moved on from TF2, but the game is still rockin' and fun to play. The cheaters have all but disappered thanks to Valve fixing stuff that should have been done years ago.

I'd love to see some of us get together and play during the TF2 Halloween Event, a favorite holiday for many of us TF2 groupies. I'm sure there are people reading this who still haven't gotten all the Halloween items and achievements, so we could get together and help to get those for people interested and want them.

I'll send out another group message once the holiday launches. Hopefully we can see some of you for a good time and revisit some of the many memories and good times of the many BOOM! Halloweens of the past!

Hi Everyone,

I hope you all had some great holidays and just wanted to let you all know I was thinking about you.

Historically the holiday season was an awesome time for the BOOM! clan here to have fun playing TF2 while enjoying the new Smissmiss items that come with it. Without our servers and the regulars who all played in them, is just not the same. But I so enjoyed the many years of hosting and playing in our servers and I hope you all did too.

Please drop by our website (https://boomgaming.net), our Discord or just leave a message here in chat to check in from time to time. It's always great to hear from members with updates on how they're doing. What's crazy to me is some of the little kids who played with us are now married and have kids! I love it!!!

I had a lot of fun playing the CS Source servers back in the days. It was an honor helping Lt. Mav moderate it. Good times.

In the sense that BOOM!’s servers and website have been closed, Yes. But for the members who called outlets community their online home, No. We still chat and stay in touch with each other and members still play games together.

If the time comes that TF3 is released, I may build some community servers for our members to play on and get back together.

I’m proud to have played with and ultimately be destroyed on our servers by so many of you. It was a significant piece of my life that I will reule miss. But I always look forward to hearing from members, so reach out anytime. And if you see Tf3 released with the option of building Community servers, I’ll let you know if and when we bring some online.
