Since the level's primary purpose is to introduce you to the basic combat mechanics of the game, majority of the Prologue is cutscenes with a short battle near the end. You'll be treated to your first combat controlling Dunban with the Monado while Dickson and Mumkhar supports you. A wave Mechons will attack consisting of two Mechon M69s and a M72 then a second wave of three M69s. Shortly after the second wave is defeated a Mechon M82 will enter the battle. The best advice for all three encounters is to use Dunbar's Art Monado Enchant at every opportunity with an occasional Monado Buster.
On new game plus, Dunban will be in its highest experience with the current sword from your first playthrough. Dickson will be in his best clothes and Mumkhar will be in his Mechonis suit. You'll be automatically enchanted first so you won't have to worry about taking forever to knock down the Mechon.
