I am trying to setup a new phone to use the same account as an older one. I would like to be able to use either of them interchangeably. When I go to accounts.firefox.com aon the new phone and put in my email and password, the result is "incorrect password". I have checked, double-checked and triple-checked the details and they are correct. Old phone is a Pixel 7 pro and new one is Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra.

I am looking for a web browser I can use to manage my company on and I don't know much technology or cyber security and I am anticipating opening my card and collectibles shop within a few months and it took alot to get this far so I don't want to make any decisions that will create any kind of complications with my business. I am looking for one secure browser to use exclusively for my company I already told you it is a card and collectible shop but I will sell online hopefully. So my question is is there anything that I should know about vulnerabilities that could potentially be used to exploit my business

Although Firefox for Android has support for PWA websites in general,I see that it doesn't detect all pwa websites and creates a simple shortcut instead! For example go to mytuner-radio.com and try to install it as a Pwa, it just creates a shortcut!

If you try this on other browsers like Vivaldi for Android, it installs it as an app, without the need to open the whole browser alongside all the tabs,every time you tap on its icon !

Please fix this and make all sites that support pwa detectable !

If I'm on a website and let's say I'm reading an article and I'm midway, if I switch to another app momentarily for a few seconds (eg go to a messenger app to send a quick message) most of the time when I get back to Firefox it seems to reload the app and refreshes the page. This makes me lose my scroll position and progress. This doesn't happen on other browsers like Vivaldi,it feels like aggressive memory management. Please fix this if possible because I don't think it's my phone's issue , I have a Xiaomi 14 Ultra with 16gb of ram and Android 16 (latest hyper os 3.0.3)!

I'm signed in to Firefox on mobile because I want to access my desktop bookmarks, history etc on mobile. But whenever I bookmark a page on mobile it automatically saves to whatever folder I last used on desktop. But I don't want them saved to my desktop bookmarks at all. I don't know how to move them to mobile only and how to stop them from saving into my desktop folders.

The old menu is more user friendly and everything shows up. Unlike the new menu where you have to search for stuff. Please incorporate an option to choose between menus.

I want it back on top not like it is in the screenshot, how do I get it back the way it was. why do you keep changing things not everybody wants to change and then you just change it for everyone without even giving the option to not change it it's ridiculous. If I can't move it back I'll be switching browsers.

When using the search assist, which I do a lot, and then use the "more" button as it's loading more and I am reading through a window pops up and auto scrolls down to the new text box that asks for further questions. I do not see the point in this at all and find it very tedious, is there anyway to stop this?

Android - No YouTube comments. Tried clearing cache Even without signing in with Google account still no comments Tried deleting Firefox and installed it again fresh, no extensions, no change in settings. Still no comments Also the comments appear when watching shorts, only normal videos are affected

Hello, I changed the app icon and now I have two 2 Firefox icons (default + retro 2024) and there's no way to remove either except by uninstall, I tried other icons and the same issue persists... As far as I know when an app has the option it's the original app icon that changes instead of creating another one so, is this intended or a bug? I'm on A11 if that helps.

Every time I pinch to zoom on a website the page always jumps I've tried all the different settings that people have recommended but nothing seems to solve this even went into the about config settings and tweaked a few things too but nothing has helped

I'm missing the pop-up control on the android version, it simply not there? Problem is, in DK wee have a id approval function called mitId (my ID) I'll typically pop up as result of a payment of larger amounts, therefore the block exception is mandatory for that site. But the control is missing in android  ! I just got a payment rejected due to the bank couldn't verify my identity, I had to reenter Amazon in Chrome to finish the payment, rather silly ! Are there any way to bypass the missing?

Hi, my problem applies both to Firefox for Android (v147) and Firefox Nightly for Android (v149).

I have a relatively new phone and when I first installed and used both firefox apps, I had the notification that let you play/pause media that was playing, or tap the notification to open the tab playing said media. at some point I accidentally swiped away that notification on nightly, and now I can't figure out how to make it come back for either app.

I have notifications permission turned on, and in the notification categories submenu I have the "sound and video" and "media" options enabled. I can't find any other settings options that might affect it. I've force stopped the app and cleared the cache, hasn't helped. on my old phone (samsung s10e) if you accidentally did this it would just reappear next time you played media through firefox, but no such luck with this one (samsung s24).

where else should I be looking for settings that might be stopping the notification from appearing? I use nova launcher and have some of the goodlock apps installed - I couldn't find anything in either that seemed like it would do anything, but I could have missed something. or something in the phone settings?

Every since the new Android version came out in mid January, it's been annoying to browse.

Sometimes it takes several seconds to open, close, or switch tabs.

Overall it feels sluggish to scroll and view pages.

Using latest version 147.0.4.
