TERRA AXIS

Terra Axis is an Australian hard-hitting rock/metal group from the Northern suburbs of Adelaide, South Australia. The band formed with a shared passion for the early 90’s grunge with a fondness for the light and shade offered by the post-grunge/nu-metal scene later that decade and the next. They released their debut album, Under Duress, in December 2021 which was followed up by a four track EP in 2024.

 

Tackling heavy topics, Terra Axis do not shy away from the scandals of religion, politics, fascism, and prejudice. Musically, Terra Axis, are hard hitting, heavy rock with solid grove utilising light and shade with a combination of gravelly vocals and emotive story telling. No instrument takes a back seat as their writing process if fully collaborative.

 

The four members of the band are Craig Whales on Vocals, Jeremy Prowse on Lead Guitar, Aaron Linwood on Bass, and Scott Powell on Drums.

 

Before commencing this project, all members had shared the stage for over a decade in different bands playing alongside local headlines such as Hidden Intent, Truth Corroded, Skintilla, Se Bon Ki Ra, Audio Reign and National/nternational acts including Paul Di’Anno, Tarja Turunen, Saliva, Drowning Pool, Grinspoon, Funkoars, The Red Shore, LagerStein, & Hybrid Theory.
