We understand that buying things online sometimes doesn’t go as planned, but will offer as much assistance as possible, including FREE Video Call Fit Checks with our certified Babywearing Educator to help you wear correctly.
Change Of Mind Returns:
Here at Chekoh, we take a lot of pride to ensure all of our products are of high quality and accurately represented on our website, therefore we do not issue change of mind refunds.
Please Note: In accordance with Australian Consumer Law, we are not required to offer a refund for any orders placed due to the following:
Change of mind (colour, style, fit, use)
Found the item cheaper somewhere else
Decided you have no use for it
We do however offer an exchange if your item was purchased within the last 30 days. This will be processed via a store credit to the value of the item purchased (shipping costs not included).
Faulty Item Returns:
If you receive a faulty or damaged item, we will provide you with a replacement (where available) or a full refund of the purchase amount excluding shipping, provided the item is returned within our 12 month warranty period, as well as a proof of purchase.
We will carry out an inspection and contact you from there to decide the best course of action.
Please note that any additional cost incurred due to currency conversion, transaction fees, import taxes etc. will not be refunded, and are considered the responsibility of the customer.

- An online Return Request (lodge HERE) must be submitted within 30 days of delivery.
- Your carrier must have been purchased directly through our website www.chekoh.com and you must be the ORIGINAL PURCHASER. You will be required to enter your ORDER NO. and email at time of purchase - if you have received the item as a gift, please contact the purchaser as they will be required to submit the request.
- Items must be returned via post with tracking numbers provided. For any faulty returns, Chekoh will provide a return shipping label.
You are responsible for any costs associated with returning the item for a' change of mind' request to us including any currency conversion costs or transaction fees. - Items must be returned in unworn, unwashed or otherwise unused condition, with all original tags/labels attached and packaging.
- Processing returns can take us a few days, please be patient with us.
When will my order be dispatched?
We ship every week day from our HQ in Brisbane, Queensland. If you complete your purchase on a Friday after 10am, your order will be dispatched the following business day - Monday.
- Chekoh do not ship on Public Holidays - your order will be dispatched the next scheduled dispatch day (referenced above).
- If you have purchased during a SALE PERIOD, please allow an extra 48hrs on top of our standard dispatch time due to the increased order volume.
- Please enter your shipping address correctly as Chekoh is not responsible for lost packages or orders due to an incorrect address entered during purchase. Any additional shipping fees will invoiced and payment made before re-shipment will commence.
- Chekoh does not guarantee any shipping times as these are quoted by our third party provider (AusPost).
Please also note all domestic orders will not require a signature on delivery.
We ship via Australia Post, with both Standard and Express options available.
Once shipped, you will receive an email with instructions on how to access your tracking information.

Is there a LOCAL PICK UP option?
You're welcome to collect your order from Chekoh HQ on the Redcliffe Peninsula, QLD, Australia. This option is only available during business hours. For local pick up, please select PICK UP under the delivery tab during checkout.
Your order will not be shipped and pick ups may take 24 business hours to be ready for collection. Please email ahead to secure a day and time for collection.
PLEASE NOTE: We do not offer weekend or public holiday pick ups.
Is there a FREE SHIPPING option?
We offer free shipping for all Australian orders over $350.
Alternatively, for all orders under this amount, our flat rate shipping for Australia is $10 for standard and $15 for express.
International Shipping options
We ship all our products to any international port excluding Israel*.

New Zealand flat rate shipping - $10 NZD Standard and $15 NZD Express.

All of our Chekoh products come with a 12 month manufacturers guarantee that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Are Chekoh Carriers safe to use?
We have ensured all our carriers are safe to use and have been designed to comply with the American Society for Testing & Materials (ASTM) standard ASTM F2236 in the United States.
Unfortunately, unlike the United States, there are no strict safety standards that must be met in order to sell baby carriers in Australia.
However, Chekoh has recently secured endorsement from the Australian Babywearing Association and our products comply with best practice positioning and support, and adequately explain safety and correct use for optimal outcomes.
Our fabrics are OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified, ensuring they’re free from harmful chemicals and completely safe for your little one’s delicate skin.
Do Chekoh carriers support infants and children with hip dysplasia?
Every Chekoh carrier is thoughtfully created in line with the International Hip Dysplasia Institute (IHDI) guidelines to ensure your baby’s hips are supported safely and comfortably.
Our carriers promote healthy hip development by keeping your little one’s thighs supported to the knee and maintaining the optimal ‘M’ (or ‘froggy’) position - the natural, ergonomic posture for growing hips during those vital early years.
When do I adjust the seat size for my baby?
Our Clip carrier has 3 sizing positions to suit the length and weight of your baby, different sizes can be created by adjusting the position of the press studs found on the inside of the waist belt.
As a general guide, we recommend:
- 0-3mths = 1st setting (narrowest)
- 4-6mths = 2nd setting
- 7mths + = 3rd setting (widest)

Can I forward face my baby?
We are looking into making this possible in the near future!
Currently we only recommend a chest-to-chest or back carry for our Clip Carriers.
If opting for a forward facing suitable carrier, please note that there are current recommendations that baby only be worn in this position for a maximum of 15-20 minutes at a time and baby cannot sleep in this position.
Ultimately we believe that chest-to-chest is still best as this allows baby to rest against you when needed, prevents over-stimulation and helps promote healthy spine and hip development.
Can I carry my baby from birth?
The Clip Carrier 2.0 allows adjustable wear from 3.2kgs+ (7lbs).

What is the Chest Strap for?
The Chest Strap is the ultimate accessory for additional shoulder support and great for back carries with your Chekoh Clip Carrier.
This accessory can also be used for those who prefer straight 'H' style straps (instead of an 'X') at the back when carrying chest-to-chest.
The Chest Strap can be used on both the original and 2.0 Clip Carrier designs.
My partner and I will both be wearing, does one size fit all?
Our Clip Carriers are adjustable at the waist (120cm waistband) and shoulders and are suitable up to approximately an Australian Women's size 22 OR Men’s size XXXL.
We also offer a Size Extender accessory to add up to 40cm extra length to the waistband.
How do I wash and care for my new Clip Carrier?
All of our Carriers are packed into a 100% biodegradable garment bag, so they're fresh and clean for you to wear upon arrival.
If you'd like to give your Clip Carrier a quick wash before use, opt for a cold hand wash (no bleach!) and line dry in the shade.
When washing your Clip Carrier, we recommend popping it inside the Chekoh Cotton Wash Bag to prevent tangles.
We also recommend washing your Clip Carrier separately for the first wash, just to ensure the colours are completely colourfast as some darker prints and colours will release a small amount of dye in the first wash.
If ever in doubt, please refer to the care instructions printed on the tag of your Clip Carrier.
Can I purchase a Carrier as part of my NDIS care plan?
Baby Carriers are classified as 'Low Cost Assistive Technology' and can be recommended directly by your health care practitioner if required and where suitable.
We recommending contacting your health care practitioner and NDIS directly to confirm this.

All of our Clip Carriers are made from natural, lightweight and breathable fabrics.

With a soft and completely adjustable fit, the Wrap Carrier will gently hug your figure and provide optimal comfort for both you and baby.
Our Wraps are also one of the shortest styles available at approximately 4m length, so our petite wearers will also find a comfortable fit without extra added bulk.
Can I still wear comfortably after a c-section delivery?
Yes, as you tie your Wrap, your baby sits high on your chest.
Our fabrics are also super soft and the weight of the carry will be distributed evenly across your shoulders, not low or near your pelvic area.
Please do take extra care when tying your Wrap and keep your own wellbeing in mind when babywearing.

Can I carry twins in my Wrap Carrier?
As this is an advanced carry style and we recommend consulting with a Babywearing Expert before attempting any twin carries.

Legs in or out?
It is now recommended and supported by certified Babywearing Educators worldwide to have your baby’s legs out from birth.
This will help distribute their weight through their bottom and not rest on their feet. Legs out helps to ensure that circulation is not hindered. This position also helps to keep their developing spine supported in a natural ‘C’ curve.
Always ensure you create a nice deep seat for your little one. The bottom rail should sit up firm against the back of baby’s knees and promote a squat or ‘M’ position with their bottom positioned lower than their bent knees.
We do not recommend a forward facing carry or back carry when using our Wrap or Sling carriers.
Please only carry your baby as per the instructions included with your carrier.
We also have your comfort in mind so please ensure that your Wrap is tied tight and the fabric spread wide across your back with no twists or flips.
Your baby should always be kept close and snug to your body and your carry should adhere to the T.I.C.K.S Safety Guidelines at all times.

This will help distribute their weight through their bottom and not rest on their feet. Legs out helps to ensure that circulation is not hindered. This position also helps to keep their developing spine supported in a natural ‘C’ curve.
Always ensure you create a nice deep seat for your little one. The bottom rail should sit up firm against the back of baby’s knees and promote a squat or ‘M’ position with their bottom positioned lower than their bent knees.
We do not recommend a forward facing carry or back carry when using our Wrap or Sling carriers.
Please only carry your baby as per the instructions included with your carrier.
We also have your comfort in mind so please ensure that your Wrap is tied tight and the fabric spread wide across your back with no twists or flips.
Your baby should always be kept close and snug to your body and your carry should adhere to the T.I.C.K.S Safety Guidelines at all times.

Can I carry my baby from birth?
We recommend using your Chekoh Sling from 3kgs (6.6lbs), so right from the beginning.
Babywearing provides the most womb-like environment your little one could be in - all while providing you with hands-free ease!
If your newborn is under 3kgs (6.6lbs), born prematurely, or has any health concerns, please consult with your paediatrician or doctor before beginning wear.
