EAN API Features

We provide a REST-based API to search our full database with over 1.09 billion barcodes, make automated queries and integrate into your own applications.

• query products by EAN/UPC code (or prefix e.g., 0885909*)
• search by product name
• product category data for many products
• responses in XML or JSON format
• API can be used directly from within spreadsheets (Excel etc.)
• code samples provided for Java, PHP, Python, Rust, Go and C#
• generate EAN barcode images (PNG) to display or print
