Alai gives 4 options for each slide so that you can discover something that feels right. With Alai’s system of elements, making edits is easy without wasting time tweaking pixels.

Alai
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I’m Krishna, co-founder of Alai.
We started Alai because creating a great presentation still takes too long. Traditional tools require aligning boxes, adjusting spacing, matching colors and finding templates. Whereas most AI tools don't meet the bar for design and limit customization. We wanted something that actually understands your ideas and turns them into decks you’d be proud to present.
Here’s what you can expect from Alai:
1. Four strong options per slide: Each time you generate a slide, Alai gives you four distinct, high-quality options that look great and make sense. You start from quality, not cleanup.
2. Responsive canvas: Everything adjusts automatically as you add or move content. No pixel pushing or layout breaking.
3. Rich visual elements: Built specifically for presentations, not docs. The elements look premium and are very customizable.
4. Context-aware AI: Alai’s AI understands your entire deck, not just one textbox at a time. When you rewrite, split or merge slides, or generate visuals, everything stays relevant and consistent with your story.
And a lot more: There are so many other features we can't wait for you try out, including generating AI images, adding headers & footers, and switching between themes in just 1 click.
As first-time founders, it’s a dream come true to launch on Product Hunt. We’d love for you to check it out, share your feedback, and help us make Alai even better.

Looks beautiful. Love how you’re balancing AI speed with actual design control — something most tools skip. Curious how it compares to Gamma, what you offer that there don't ?
Alai
Thanks @stas_kaufman
Great question! Gamma is multi-format and uses simple Notion-style blocks that look flat and generic. Alai is presentation first and so the elements look premium with a lot more flexibility.
Also, we go much much deeper into how the AI generates and iterates on every slide.
I've done a deep analysis on this exact question here: https://getalai.com/blog/gamma-alternative
@stas_kaufman @krishna_gupta51 Nice!
@krishna_gupta51 This sounds like the dream! If Alai means I can finally stop moving pixels around, consider me sold. Good luck with the launch, Krishna and team!
Alai
@secure_slate thanks for the support!!! Excited to see what you create.
PicWish
@krishna_gupta51 REALLY GOOD, Keep pushing! btw does it handle complex data visualizations like a scatter plot with multiple regression lines?
Alai
thanks @mohsinproduct!
Right now we don't support scatter plots but we can add it fairly quickly if you can share your use case with us.
Saywise
@krishna_gupta51 Hi - congrats on the launch and upvoted!
Question - does this plug into existing tools, like Google slides or Canva?
Alai
thanks @cksaywise
We're adding export to powerpoint very soon and so that should enable you to open it in Google slides as well.
@krishna_gupta51 Finally someone said it. Most decks look like AI sneezed on PowerPoint.
Love that you’re prioritizing design and context, but tell me, can Alai adapt tone when a deck shifts from sales pitch to investor pitch? That’s where most tools lose coherence. 👀
Very nice. Any thoughts on an API integration in the future? I could see this working will with our product. Good luck on your launch!
Alai
thanks @jeremy_krystosik . We have an API internally but haven't prioritized launching it. Waiting for the right design partner. Would love to learn more about your use case.
@krishna_gupta51 let's connect and discuss.
@krishna_gupta51 congrats on the successful day! We actually launched today!
Alai
It's been an honor building Alai over the last 18 months and we are incredibly excited for you to try it out!
On one hand, it's wonderful how AI has made it so quick and easy to build things for anyone. Yet, this has also come with a rapid rise of AI-generated slop everywhere on the internet.
With Alai, we have focussed on making sure that you get both quality and ease. Getting this right is hard but it's essential. We have spent countless hours discussing every detail and trade-off. Here are a couple:
1) Building our own platform: After briefly exploring the idea of building on top of Google Slides/Powerpoint, we decided to take the longer and harder route of building our own platform. We realized that to deliver a truly great product with the right AI interface, we needed full control over the experience. That control is just not possible with the current constraints and incentives of existing platforms.
2) Keeping users in control: We have always believed that the best products will let humans and AI create together given complementary strengths. We didn’t want a product where the only way to create or iterate was through prompts. Our approach gives users full control, while still letting them leverage AI where it adds the most value.
Lastly, if you do choose to try Alai, we would love to hear from you and really do everything that we can to make you and your deck successful.
Try Alai!
Alai
@anmolsood It's been an amazing experience working together on this! Onwards and upwards 🚀
@anmolsood 18 months of obsession shows, you can feel the craftsmanship.
Full control + AI assistance is a rare combo. Curious though: how do you stop users from over-customizing back into chaos? Humans can’t resist fiddling. 😅
Alai
So thrilled to finally share Alai with everyone!
I’ve been part of the journey from a long time and It’s amazing seeing how far we've come.
What excites me most is how smooth and creative the experience feels now. You can go from a rough idea to a polished, well-designed deck in minutes. And still have full control to make it your own!
No more endless tweaking or struggling with layouts.
Can’t wait for you all to try it out and see how it changes the way you build presentations.
Would love to hear your thoughts and feedback!
@viraj48 From chaos to clarity, that’s my kind of workflow.
How far can Alai stretch personalization without breaking harmony between slides?
Asking as someone who’s allergic to visual inconsistency. 🎨

Congrats on the launch, Krishna and team!
I’ve tried a bunch of AI presentation tools, and most of them either look too generic or don’t let you customize much Alai seems to hit a really nice balance between automation and creative control.
Love the idea of getting 4 design options per slide and a responsive canvas.

Alai
thanks @nastaran_darabi . AI image generation is a pretty hard problem. The reason for this is that its hard to know when an accent image will contrast the text well vs when it would just be unnecessary/distraction. Its also really hard to write the perfect prompt to generate a relevant image. We tackle this in multiple ways:
We have fine tuned the AI to only generate an image when it would contrast text on the slide instead of repeating the same info or just being unnecessary
Even then, since we show 4 options, we make sure that there are some options without AI images so that the user has a real choice to opt-in for images
Lastly, since the AI understands the context of a slide, we have this nice little checkbox that you can tick to ask the AI to generate the right image based on the slide context instead of thinking of the perfect prompt.
We've also optimized little things like when the AI generates a slide with AI generated background image then make sure that the text is positioned in a way where its visible clearly on top of the image (so it takes into account the position of the text while generating the image)
...and a lot more
It took us months and multiple iterations to get AI images right. Would love to see how your experience with AI images is and what we can improve.
Love this and I hope it takes off. Can you confirm whether it offers support for RTL languages as well?
Alai
@ron_creates Support for other languages is landing very soon. RTL hasn't been prioritized yet!
