Week 3 Teaching Reflection at GEMS School

The teacher had a challenging week preparing two different lessons for two grades, which took all day. They started using a behavior management system called "super scientists" for one class to help with classroom management, using happy faces for good behavior and black points for misbehavior. Students did an activity illustrating the particles in liquids, solids and gases using paper and bottle sticks, working together collaboratively. Each day after lunch, students read books to improve their reading skills.

Weekly Reflection

Week #3 (From 25.10.2015 to 28.10.2015)


The third week in GEMS school is so interesting that I started my
first at this day to prepare two lesson for different class which are
grade 4 and grade 5. This is so challenging for me that is so
difficult to prepare two different lesson in different kind of
activities. That I spent all day to prepare the lesson that I have a
different group in each class. That i had a several material and
activities for each group. On the other hand, in this week I started
to use super scientists for grade 4 which is working well in
classroom because the class that I taught I had a problem to
management them in classroom that is way I used this kind of the
management for them. The idea for this board is put the black
point for the misbehavior in classroom, while I used the happy
face for a good behavior in classroom that students participate
with the teacher and listen to the teacher while speaking. I hope
this type of management is working with them. Otherwise, in this
the teacher used an activity that for grade 4 that have each group

a three paper and 15 bottles stick that students illustrate the


particle in liquids, solids and gases. This kind of the activity is so
important in classroom that teacher let's the students working
together, collaboration between each other and learning from
each other. On the other hand, every day after the lunch the
students have a time to reading a book this is so interesting for
the students to improve the reading skills.
