Understanding Particle Movement in Matter

This lesson taught students about the particle nature of matter in solids, liquids, and gases. Students participated in a KWL activity to identify what they already knew and wanted to learn. They were then given demonstrations with boxes, balloons, and water to observe the movement of particles in each state of matter and draw their observations. The hands-on group activity effectively helped students learn from each other about how particle motion differs across the three states of matter.

Reflection #3

This lesson is divided into two classroom. This lesson is about

matter in made of particle. That introduce to the students how the
particle moving in solids, liquids and gases. So the objective
learning of this lesson is the students will identify and describe the particle in
solids, liquids and gases. I started the lesson with KWL activity that students
writing in the group what they know about it and what we want know. By the end
of the lesson the students was writing what they learn. Then, I was give each group
the empty box, balloon and cup of water. The students was filling this three thing
to the ball. So the students was drawing how the ball moving in each state of
matter. The strength of the lesson was activity is interesting that students learning
and working as group to learn from each other.
