embankment reaches which are formed long back with mud and stones became very weak
due to ratholes, antholes, Stone lizards and roots of juliflora etc., Due to this the irrigation
channels are not carrying the required discharge to the ayacut and are getting breaches very
oftenly. Due to this the ayacutdars are not getting continues and sufficient flows to their
ayacut raised, which is causing damage to the crops and also affecting the yield resulting loss
to the land holders and also wastage of man power for restoring the breaches occurred in
the channels. Hence, it is proposed to strengthen the banks of channels for an amount of Rs.
315 Lakh.
This tank can be fed from Handri Niva Srujala Sravanthi by gravity which is running in
the foreshore of the tank about 1 km Distance.
