Summary of Findings

Based on the information presented, the researchers

summarized the following:

1. Same-sex marriage, also referred to as gay marriage, is a highly

debated and extensively studied topic, igniting global

conversations on equal rights and human rights.

2. Having an importance on the legalization of same-sex marriage in

our country would be a major step towards achieving inclusivity

and acceptance to our LGBT community.

3. Allowing same-sex marriage in the Philippines would have various

advantages for individuals, families, and society overall.

4. It would advance social equality, safeguard human rights, and

improve the mental health of LGBTQ+ individuals. Moreover,

marriage equality would yield positive economic outcomes, fortify

families and communities, and enhance the nation’s global

standing.

5. By acknowledging and accepting the rights of same-sex couples,

the Philippines can take a significant stride towards constructing a

more inclusive and fair society.

Conclusions

Based on the findings, the following conclusions can be drawn:
