DEMO TEACHING (arnis)

ARNIS- is the national martial art sport of the Philippines. It is also known by the
name Eskrima and Kali. The sport gives emphasis to weapon based fighting. This is
often done using bladed weapons such as knives, sticks, and other improvised
weapons.

Advantages of Arnis:
 Exercise for better health.
 Enhances Cardiovascular endurance.
 Enhances Flexibility.
 Self-Protection.
 self-defense.
 Provides recreation as well as purpose in life (for those that are suicidal, it
becomes their avenue of emotions)
 Improve reflexes.
 Can teach self-control.
