II. Rationale:
1. The activity highlights the importance of cultural exchange in tourism, suggesting

2. The Senior High school has an interconnection to their subject that requires them
to exposed local communities by deepening the learning of the students of the
tourist spots in the locality and serve as their performance task in subject of
Travel and Services NC II.
III. Objectives:
At the end of the activity, the learners will be able to:
A. The learner independently promotes tourism products and services (TLE_HETP9 – 12PS-IVa-c-
8)
B. The learners independently develop the key sources of Information on the industry like
advertising in promoting the tourist spots using social media. (TLE_HETS9 12DUIK-IF-J-2)
Specifically, the learners will be able to:

1. To appreciate the tourist spots in locality.


2. To examine the various used in tourism promotion, social media and traditional
advertising and their effectiveness in reaching diverse audiences.
3. Create a blog about what they have visited and experienced in the tourist spots and post it
in social media.
