From a young age, I’ve been curious about how businesses work—how decisions

are made, how data drives those decisions, and how people, systems, and
technology come together to build value. This interest evolved over time into a
passion for understanding the business world from multiple angles: strategy,
operations, analytics, and innovation. It is this passion that motivates me to apply to
undergraduate programmes in business administration, data science, supply chain
management, and business technology.

What excites me most is the interdisciplinary nature of modern business. I’m

especially interested in how data science and artificial intelligence are transforming
industries, how supply chain systems are evolving in a complex global economy, and
how business knowledge can be applied in real-world sectors like healthcare and
sustainability. I believe these areas offer powerful tools to improve efficiency,
decision-making, and long-term impact.

One of my most meaningful school projects involved researching postal and logistics
services, focusing on first-mile and last-mile delivery challenges. This hands-on
experience introduced me to key supply chain concepts and made me realize how
small changes in planning or execution can lead to big improvements. I enjoyed
thinking critically about real-world problems and exploring how data and strategy
could solve them. Since then, I’ve explored basic analytics tools on my own and
followed case studies on how global companies use technology to improve
operations and customer experiences.

I studied at XY School, where I completed all 12 years of education in English. This

has given me strong academic writing and communication skills, and the confidence
to study in an international academic environment. My school experience was
multicultural, which helped me appreciate diverse perspectives and work well with
students from different backgrounds—something I look forward to continuing in the
UK.

As a student from Saudi Arabia, I am especially motivated by Vision 2030, which is

driving major transformation across the country. With a national focus on innovation,
economic diversification, digital health, and logistics infrastructure, there is a growing
need for graduates who understand both technology and business. My goal is to
return home after university and contribute to this transformation—whether by
working in data-driven business operations, smart healthcare delivery, or strategic
supply chain development.

Each of the programmes I am applying to offers a unique path to explore my

interests further. At Imperial, I look forward to learning how data science and finance
intersect to drive smart economic decisions. At UCL, the combination of business
and health speaks directly to my interest in practical innovation. Edinburgh’s strong
foundation in business administration will help me build a broad understanding of the
field, while Brunel’s focus on artificial intelligence matches my interest in emerging
technologies. Finally, Cardiff and Aston offer the opportunity to specialise in supply
chain management, which is an area I see playing a critical role in the future of
business, especially in the Middle East.

Thank you for considering my application.
