Personal Statement
From a young age, I have been fascinated by the financial mechanisms that drive business
success. My passion for accounting, finance, and entrepreneurship has only grown stronger with
time, and I am now eager to take the next step in my academic journey by pursuing a BSc (Hons)
Accounting and Finance with International Year One at Cardiff University. This program aligns
perfectly with my career aspirations, as it will equip me with the technical knowledge, analytical
skills, and global perspective needed to achieve my long-term goal of becoming a successful
entrepreneur.
My academic background has laid a solid foundation for this path. Currently enrolled in the BBA
program at BRAC University, I have completed courses such as Financial Accounting,
Management Accounting, and Principles of Marketing, which have deepened my understanding
of business operations and financial management. My coursework has honed my analytical
thinking and problem-solving abilities, skills that are essential for both accounting and
entrepreneurship. Additionally, my secondary and higher secondary education in Business
Studies, with GPAs of 4.22 and 4.50 respectively, reflects my consistent dedication to academic
excellence.
Beyond the classroom, I have proactively sought certifications to enhance my practical skills.
Courses like Introduction to Financial Accounting and Excel for Business and Finance have
equipped me with hands-on experience in financial analysis and data management. My
proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and Python programming further demonstrates my
