Here’s a clear letter writing format you can follow.

Letters are generally of two types: Formal and


Informal. I’ll give you both formats.

1. Formal Letter Format (for office, applications, official matters):

📍 Receiver’s Address

📍 Subject (one line, short and clear)

📍 Salutation (e.g., Respected Sir/Madam, )

✍️Body of the Letter:

Introduction: State the purpose of the letter.

Main Content: Give details, reasons, or explanation.

Conclusion: Request or final note.

📍 Complimentary Close: (e.g., Yours faithfully / Yours sincerely)
