JOB TITLE: Computer Vision Intern


EXPERIENCE: 2024 (passed out) and 2025 (passing out) students
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Electronics / Robotics
/ related field
WORK LOCATION: Teynampet, Chennai
ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Assist in developing and testing computer vision algorithms for object detection,
recognition, and tracking.
 Work on training, evaluating, and fine-tuning deep learning models using frameworks like
TensorFlow or PyTorch.
 Perform image and video data preprocessing and augmentation for robust model training.
 Implement edge detection, segmentation, and feature extraction techniques.
 Collaborate with hardware and robotics teams to integrate vision models with real-time
systems.
 Optimize models for inference on embedded platforms or GPUs.
 Work with tools such as OpenCV and MediaPipe for vision-based processing.
 Debug and validate model performance in real-world scenarios.
 Maintain code documentation and contribute to technical reports.
 Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas for vision-based
solutions.
REQUIRED SKILLSET:

 Strong foundation in computer vision and image processing techniques.


 Hands-on experience with OpenCV and deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or
PyTorch.
 Understanding of CNN architectures and transfer learning.
 Proficiency in Python; familiarity with C++ is a plus.
 Knowledge of model evaluation metrics (IoU, precision, recall, etc.).
 Experience with tools like Jupyter Notebook, Git, and Linux-based environments.
 Must have completed academic or personal projects in object detection, image
classification, or related areas.
