About Apparent Energy Solutions

Apparent Energy Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is a deep-tech company building

AI-driven, engineering-grade solutions for energy, automation, and intelligent
systems.

We focus on applied research, algorithmic rigor, and real-world deployment,

not demo-only AI. Our work involves translating theory → scalable systems
under practical constraints.

Role: Computer Vision Engineer (Research Intern)

We are looking for a strong Computer Vision engineer with solid mathematical
and algorithmic foundations, capable of independently reasoning about vision
problems and implementing high-quality solutions.

This role is not a low-level scripting internship. You will be expected to think,
design, experiment, and justify engineering choices.
What You Will Work On

● Designing end-to-end computer vision pipelines for real-world use cases

● Object detection, segmentation, tracking, and vision-based inference

● Deep learning model development, fine-tuning, and evaluation

● Dataset curation, augmentation strategies, and error analysis

● Translating research ideas / papers into working systems

● Performance trade-offs: accuracy vs latency vs robustness

Core Requirements (Strict)

Applicants should have most of the following:

● Strong fundamentals in Computer Vision & Image Processing

● Proficiency in Python

● Hands-on experience with PyTorch / TensorFlow

● Practical experience with OpenCV

● Familiarity with models such as YOLO, Faster R-CNN, SSD, UNet, etc.

● Clear understanding of:

○ CNN architectures

○ Loss functions & evaluation metrics

○ Transfer learning and fine-tuning

● Ability to read, understand, and implement research papers

Strongly Preferred

● Prior research projects / advanced course projects in CV or ML

● Experience building systems beyond notebooks (scripts, pipelines, APIs)

● Comfort with mathematical reasoning behind models

● Exposure to real-time or constrained vision systems

● GitHub with clean, readable, non-trivial projects

What Sets This Internship Apart

● Work on real engineering problems, not toy datasets

● High technical ownership and independence

● Direct mentorship from senior engineers

● Exposure to industry-grade AI system design

● Performance-based opportunity for extended engagement / PPO

Who Should Apply

● Candidates from IIT(ISM) Dhanbad, graduating in or after 2026, who enjoy

thinking deeply about problems, not just running code
